Product Description

With the KBS System Sampler Kit, you will have everything you need to clean, prep & apply two coats of RustSeal on a 12" or larger surface. There are 5 square feet in this Our kit comes with 8 ounces of RustSeal coating, so you won't be left out in the cold. There are more than 4 ounces in the container. More than twice as many surfaces covered!

This coating is elastic, allowing it to expand and contract with the changes in temperature.

The powder will be applied over existing metal and fillers as well as prep and coat.

It is designed to prep and coat up to 12 pieces of equipment. There is a total area of 5 square feet. It is not uncommon for 20 gallon tanks to have outside surfaces not larger than 12 square feet. There is a total area of 5 square feet.

Do I have to use a standard paint if I want the finish to be standard? How do I determine whether the rust seal step is required or can a 2 step enamel and clear coat be used instead?

If rust prevention is a priority, then RustSeal is the best option. After RustSeal is applied, a standard paint can be applied. Since this is a fairly common application, we provide specific instructions for how to top coat RustSeal.

On a flat metal surface, I was able to sand and smooth it out as a result of using this. In such a situation, it works well. However, you will probably encounter the same problem others have when applying the coating on a surface that is uneven, coarse, bumpy, etc. It is possible to get those erupting bubbles you have seen described by others in this case. The key thing to remember is that this product works best on even and smooth surfaces, and it behaves poorly Therefore, it is really hard to say if I would recommend this It's just not clear to me.

Following directions was easy. Is holding up well so far. Whenever paint is dry, it becomes like a tough plastic coating. While it is possible to keep paint from solidifying in the can, it is not possible to keep it from setting. I covered the lid with plastic wrap before re-installing it, but it didn't As much of the paint as possible should be used at once. Having used a lot of the paint and not being able to use it all at once, I had to throw away over half of it. By the way, I just wanted to mention It cures when it is humid. Currently, we are experiencing the following weather conditions I had a dry garage with a dehumidifier, yet the paint still skinned over easily.

It is potent

The top of my 42" tractor mower deck was covered. Whenever you apply the product, be sure to wear gloves and eye protection. As I removed my gloves, I had a film of sweat on my fingers. I think they'll bury me with specks still attached. The wish list for the mow deck is that it sticks.

Using the system for the first time

It's great to have you on board. This product was used to arrest the rust on my 2011 Chevy Avalanche doors (due to a poor design of the weather stripping drain). I read the directions and watched the videos, and though I wasn't pleased with the end result, I am satisfied with how it turned out.
