I replaced a master on a Coolster 150 I bought used that was completely frozen, so I'm not sure how it worked before, but it will lock up the rear tires and the lever feels very smooth, so I'd say it's a quality piece. It looked identical and fit perfectly, making it a quick and painless swap. I did not bleed the system from the caliper; instead, I filled the reservoir with fluid and pumped the lever until no more bubbles emerged, then topped off to the fill window, and it worked perfectly. More braking may be possible if the entire system is bled, but it does not appear to be necessary in my case. The spark plug isn't my favorite, but I'll keep it anyway.

It's fantastic! The rear brakes now come to a complete stop in the blink of an eye. When our old eyes were rotting, we had to replace them. I would strongly suggest it. Fits our Baja quad with a 90cc engine.
