After a trail drop, the brake lever on my 2016 Honda CB500X needed to be replaced. onto the ONE and ONLY rock on the whole fire road My stock lever was broken in a long section. Because the 2016 and later CB500Xs have an adjustable brake lever, I wasn't sure if these would fit, but hey, a Honda replacement was $62 (way too much for a stock brake lever), so I figured I'd give them a shot. I've only done the brake side, so I can't comment on the clutch side, but it was a breeze to install and effectively matched the stock lever's perch pattern. There is, however, a great deal of action: vertical slop between 3/8" and 1/2" The horizontal play (in and out) is fine; it's the up and down movement of the lever that annoys me. br>br>It appears to be working fine so far, but the slop is a pain. It appears to be due to a lack of overhang between the lever and the adjuster point (which is a vertical hinge with both ends secured to connect the lever to the perch). I'm not too concerned, but I doubt I'll keep it on the bike for very long; at the very least, I'll have a good set of spares. br>br>It's also worth noting that the levers came with small stickers that said "250," so I'm guessing they're really cut for a 250, but they work. I don't believe there is a safety concern; rather, I am concerned about the longevity of the product. You don't want to be stranded with a broken brake or clutch lever. Would I buy it again? br>br>Would I recommend it to others? Well, I only bought them this time because they were cheap and I'm approaching vehicle inspection time, but overall, I think I'd look around a little more to see what else is out there that's a little more specific to the 2013-2014 model year. 19 Honda CB500 line. br>br>I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. It came quickly, was reasonably priced, fit well, and was easy to put on. It also works. But something isn't quite right about it. I'm not asking for perfection, but that vertical floppiness doesn't bode well for long life. br>br>If you need levers, they'll work (at least the brake lever will). I haven't tried the clutch one yet), but they'll suffice if you're looking for something quick and cheap. Just don't expect an exact match for the bike that came with it.

Fantastic levers that are well-made and have a smooth action. They were a perfect fit for my CB500F and took only a few minutes to install. I can now cover both levers with two fingers without shifting my grip, unlike any other bike I've ever owned. My hands and wrists are perfectly fine after an hour of city riding, which I highly recommend.

There is some up-and-down play, but it is not noticeable while riding. To fully disengage the clutch and shift gears, you'll need to set it to at least a 4. For the price, it's an excellent buy!!.

Installing these levers took about the same amount of time as removing the screws from your bike, and they were a breeze to install. It'll be the most simple thing you've ever done. The clutch consists of It takes a little longer to get the brake lever than it does to get the brake lever. It's not because you have to put the lever, but because you have to. It's only been a few days since I got them. I tried them out on my bike and they worked perfectly. They outperform stock levers by a factor of ten. They are amazing because of their adjustability. They were a perfect fit for my CBR500R. There are no modifications or tweaks required. br>br>I'd like to point out that the clutch- The lever feels a little loose or wobbly (as it moves up and down), but this has no bearing on its fitment or functionality. br>br>As for the color options and price, you can't go wrong.

Build quality is outstanding! Everything is in perfect working order and fits my CBR500R perfectly. They have a much better feel than the stock levers, and their shape, combined with the adjustable reach, ensures that they are the perfect fit for your hand size. The lever for changing between the six settings is smooth and clicks into place nicely in each position. The build tolerances are extremely tight, giving my bike an entirely new appearance and feel. This product is fantastic; you'll never go back to stock levers!.

These handles are fantastic; when I had a CBR500R in 2013, I replaced the stock handles with these ones; first and foremost, my shifting was significantly improved, and it greatly aided me in making quick shifts while trying to keep up with the 600's. Because these were more comfortable in my hands, I was able to fully engage the clutch. When I owned the original handles, I had one of these. 2) The color scheme is fantastic, and the delivery was lightning fast. They outperform many other companies in terms of shorty levers for the same price. If I had to name a disadvantage, it would be that they are easily damaged if your bike is dropped even slightly.

After installation, I had to make a minor clutch cable adjustment. Have a cbr500r with you. Isn't it irritating when people buy motorcycle parts and then review them without telling you what they were used on? Come on, people, you can do it. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a cheap way to get rid of those longer, unsightly levers, these appear to be the real deal.

Superb craftsmanship! My hands felt the need to position themselves wider on the handle bars after receiving my 2015 Honda CB500f, as the stock levers were far too long. So, after a lot of searching on the internet and watching a lot of YouTube videos, I came across these. For just one lever, every major website demanded exorbitant sums of money. So I went ahead and bought these, and they're incredible! My hands are now in the proper position because of the perfect fit. These levers are smooth and flawless after a small amount of adjusting my clutch lever cable. If you're looking for a great set of levers, these are far superior to the competition! I'll just buy another set if these fade or break (which seems unlikely given that they're made of 6061 aluminum). I couldn't be happier, and I'm looking forward to getting back on the road.
