Please look at the photos. Because I was dissatisfied with the product's quality, I returned it for a full refund.
The part was advertised as a brake handle for a Coleman 200cc bike, but the lever was actually for a 100cc bike. The horrible seller wasted three days because of this blunder. Hey dude, maybe you shouldn't spam tag your Amazon listings.
I like that I could find a brake assembly for any of my Coleman bikes; I guess the value was good for the money! This is my third or fourth brake in a one or two month period, and they all break right where the screw and bolt connects to the housing on the Handel bar; if you squeeze too hard to break the cable, it will not snap, but the brake handel you purchased will always break. Because this is pot metal, or the world's weakest aluminum, I may have to try to outsource a stronger brake handle material. It appears that this is made of hard plastic. I just updated this because I installed a new brake yesterday and it broke today when I squeezed the handle. I ordered another three days ago, but I just cancelled it because I'd rather not spend another $12 on plastic garbage.
The delivery was on time. The original broke while I was transporting the mini bike and furniture items in a truck, so I need this for my Coleman 196cc mini bike. The brake clutch was broken by a dresser that fell on it. I installed it, and I'm back on the road. I've ridden with it for more than 5 miles and it's still going strong.
This lever is a waste of time. It's very thin where it's needed to be strong. The cable was attached, and the lever was activated. When I pulled the lever to inspect it, it snapped at the point where the cable enters.
It appears to be made of pot metal, but it is not. It is necessary to forge a relationship. On the coleman ct200, this is the only brake. You have been warned, young Jedi, to spend a few extra dollars on a high-quality part.
I'm not sure what sheerness means, but it's a good buy in general. There were no instructions, but I was able to figure it out with the help of YouTube. Brake is very effective, and shipping is quick.
I was planning on using it on my XR 50 R. It's still on a shelf because I didn't care for how it felt or looked. Junk for a low price. I should have spent a little more money and gotten a better one.
