The controls look great, but there are a few issues more than a few customers have pointed out It would have been better if I had read the reviews first. The quality of the parts is not as good My feet resting on the pegs feel like they will bend the controls just from the force of my weight. Please note *br* Using paint to prevent a bolt from sliding or being sheared Please note *br* It is far inferior to OEM hardware when it comes to brake linkage. The following features
PROS- Low cost - Although I like the look of this set, it is not one I would recommend. As a whole,.
This works fine, but the parts don't live up to the quality of As a result of a bike crash I was forced to replace some parts and bought this kit due to its affordability. The bolts have a slightly modified thread size and I had to change them. My assumption is that they're not imperial but metric. As the parts are lighter than OEM, as well as assembling it has more give than anticipated, it doesn't seem as solid or stable The problem can be quickly and easily fixed using this method.
It is relatively easy for someone who has mechanical skills to install. It is a well-made product, but the Heimjoint is made with right-hand threads for both front and rear adjustments. There should be a reverse thread on the end of one of the threads. There is no adjustment for brake transfer bar, making it difficult to adjust.
Also, the pedal is not adjustable enough. Because of this, it's at an uncomfortable height. There is a need for modification.
They were not as strong as I took them Although they work nicely, they flex a bit more than I like, and the bits supplied by them feel weak when pushed. For the money I spent, I got exactly what I wanted.
It feels like the peg brackets are flexing quite a bit. I don't know how much trust I can place in This looks like it was made cheaply. It may be more beneficial to go with the Harley brand and see if they provide more support.
As far as I can tell, this was one of the most difficult things to assemble since there were no instructions. Then, after they had been assembled and installed, they broke during use. This is a cheap waste of money, and it is.
I installed them myself. As I drove down Rd it already appeared to be.
The installation was very easy and the look is good, but the rubber on the pegs started coming off after a 10 minute ride if not for that, I would have given them a 4 or 5.
