It was a perfect fit for Despite shortening the brake rod, it was still necessary.
As far as the 2004 model goes, I am uncertain. 2007 came on my bike, and I was able to bolt it right up. It worked flawlessly, and all the hardware was included in the package. You should be fine with this set, assuming the advertisement stated it would fit your model year.

Because of its safety concerns, I recommend against purchasing this product. After the bike was first taken out, a bolt went missing on the left, and the shifting lever began flinging about, leaving my husband unable to shift. He ended up having to pull over on the side of the road, in an emergency stop. Furthermore, the right-side foot peg was bent almost immediately after normal foot pressure was applied to it, resulting in a crack. The third issue was that the product wasn't as expected when it came to the bolts, and in one of the images, the bolt is sticking out from the bar and moving.
In that regard, if you expect them to feel like an OEM, your expectations may not be met. They are lighter because they are made of aluminum, which results in more flexibility, so they are slightly softer than Steel brackets. In addition to the camera, the other accessories are also durable. It allows me to get what I want done, and I can swap out some of the swap meet stuff later if I want to improve it later.
A piece of brake level bar with screws with NOTHING LIKE THE OEM frame of the bike threading destroyed my hole in the brake level bar! I now have to pay hundreds for the dealer to do the repair. As a morally unethical act, I will accept a full refund as well as some dollars for having to fix my Parts were all made from cheap metals like aluminum or alloy that flexed when you wore them. There was rubber on the foot pegs that was almost ready to fall off when This junk is bad for your health, so do not purchase it!.
The overall quality was reasonably good for the price. The finish was good. The bolts are chrome rather than black as shown in the pictures. It seems that the shaft of the shifter vibrates a fair amount when mounted to the foot pegs. There was some paint on the inside of the machined foot peg mount that I had to remove in order for it to.
I had to make a slight modification to the heat shield, but it came on time.
This happened on the second or third thread when I opened it. I did not use any force.
I liked the price and quality but it was not the best, I had to add shim in one spot so the pegs wouldn't move and wish it came with instructions to make assembly easier. The rubber on the pegs is already coming off and it was just installed.
As soon as I looked at the pictures, I realized how easy it was to install. There is no direction from the instructions on which base to put on which.
