If the seller contacts me again, I may make changes to this. These don't yet fit the factory mirror holes on the 2019 Yamaha MT07. All four screws (two "right" and two "left") are far too big for the job. In fact, the diameter of all screws is the same. I thought I might still be able to get them to fit, but after about 20 minutes of attempting what should have taken seconds, I realized I was mistaken. The paint chips so easily, even with the provided cloth, that these will not last the test of time. br>br>If the seller contacts me again, I will amend this review if the problem can be resolved. As of now, I have holes where my mirrors used to be due to the fact that I already installed bar ends, and I am completely dissatisfied with this product. br>br>EDIT: The seller responded quickly to my concerns and promptly sent me a brand new product that fit perfectly. I'm not sure why the first one I got was too small for the 2019 MT07, but they fixed it. These guys provide excellent customer service.
Super neat and tidy, with both left and right threads in place for either setup. This is a fantastic product that I would recommend to anyone who uses bar end mirrors! Shipping was extremely fast.
These do the job well, but the aluminum used is of such poor quality that they could as well be made of butter. Screw them in by hand, then use threadlock and a screwdriver with a blade that is as wide as or wider than the slot in the head of the plug to LIGHTLY tighten them. You'll dent or chip the material if you don't do so.
I took out the wacky mirrors and replaced them with these blanking plugs - I like how flat they are, and they came with a cloth to tighten the screws. On my previous bike, I tried a different type and they stripped while tightening. These, on the other hand, did not. I would strongly suggest it!.
I'm not sure if anyone else is as oblivious as I am, but this item has four plugs. Only two of them will be used. Left and right are labeled on the bags. That does not refer to the motorcycle's left and right sides. One pair of threads is threaded to the left, while the other is threaded to the right. I spent far too much time trying to figure out why the left plug wouldn't screw into the left mirror hole.
These have been in my possession for quite some time. I didn't want to write a review right away because I wanted to think about it. The color I chose was black. Unfortunately, after only a few months, two or three, they have already begun to fade. Has a faded orange look to it. They were simple to set up, but I'd rather go with something else in the long run.
The fit and quality are excellent. I like that two pairs of plugs are included to fit any bike that uses this size bolt; if your bike requires (1) RH thread plug and (1) LH thread plug, you effectively get two pairs of plugs for the price of one.
My motorcycle's mirrors were replaced by bar-type mirrors. mirrors at the conclusion The holes where the original mirrors used to be were filled with these handy little black plugs. It's amazing how much better it looks with these in place than with the bolt holes staring me down. haha.
