Although Ram does not make a base with wrench flats, you can tighten without damaging anything by using the Ram arm.
Yes, they will work with your Triumph Tiger 800 xcx from 2017. br>Many thanks, Doubletake Mirros
This kit should be compatible with your KTM Duke 390. Thank you for your time and consideration.
I believe it came with a bag of stud adapters, of which at least one should be for the Beemer. br>I just drove 400 miles in the desert, mostly on dirt and sand, and I'm impressed that they're stable enough to be used off road while still folding when hit by brush and cactus. They're a little heavy in my opinion, but how else could they be so stable?

They're fantastic. I put these on my 2018 CRF250L and they're fantastic! They are extremely adaptable and can adapt to any situation. They're a lot longer than the stock mirrors, which I like. Finally, I have a clear view of my surroundings. As you can see in my photo, they also fold up neatly. With the provided adapter, the RAM ball mount easily screwed into my stock mounts.
So far, everything has worked out beautifully. I have a 2002 KLR650, and it vibrates like a beast, as do many KLRs. The stock mirrors wouldn't stay put, and they looked like garbage. These look fantastic and stay put on the bike. They are easy to adjust and can be positioned in a variety of ways.
It works well, but make sure the ball is threaded with thread locker. However, you can save money by renting a rocky mountain atv.
The left mirror, however, was missing. Rather than going the OE route, I came across these, which had excellent reviews and RAM mounts. They were simple to install because I already had RAM mounts for my phone and GPS, and once set up, I can see everything behind me. Easily the best purchase I've made for my AT thus far, and it allows me to see how far my friend(s) are on the trail while keeping my head forward; worth the somewhat steep price, but you'll have these for a long time.
They're a lot more adjustable than the stock KTM mirrors, but the lower mounting ball is a joke; I've never seen anything so cheesy! They ground off a small portion of the round edge on each side to create a tiny flat spot that isn't flat, unbelievably UNprofessional! I had to use pliers because I was so shocked! There are some aesthetic issues with the mounting ball as well. It appears to have chipped paint and does not appear to be brand new. I believe the mirrors will work (I have not yet ridden it), but the mounting hardware is at best pathetic; for the price, I would expect something at least professionally made. They'd be fine if they fixed the lower ball mount! In addition, I bought a second set for my other dual sport and the ball mount was round this time, so there was no way to properly tighten it.
I'm not a big fan of off-the-wall ideas. road guy. I have a fantastic 800cc adventure bike that I ride a few times a year in some pretty rough terrain. I'm not the most off-kilter person in the world. I'm a road rider, so I appreciate the product's durability; I've dumped the bike several times with these mirrors, and they're still in perfect condition. Then they're as solid as any motorcycle mirror I've ever used while traveling at high speeds on the highway. The mirror is made of high-quality glass, and I'm confident that if (not if) I break or badly scratch one, I'll be able to replace it quickly and affordably. It was extremely simple to set up. There isn't a single thing I can think of that is negative. This product has a negative aspect to it.
This is a review of my new mirrors after only one day of road riding. I haven't left the house yet. I haven't been on the road yet, but I know what to expect. br>br>One of my complaints about the feel of the drz400s was that the stock mirrors made it difficult to see behind you. I have broad shoulders and a weight of 240 pounds. In the stock mirrors, I mostly saw my arms. br>br>With these new mirrors, I can easily see not only behind me in my lane, but also across the street. br>In my opinion, that is priceless. I'm hesitant to ride on the street because I've heard far too many crash stories. These definitely give me a sense of security and assurance that I can see things more clearly around me. br>br>I got the adventure set, or as one of my riding buddies refers to it, the 'coffin' shaped mirrors. The round ones are said to be good as well, but I haven't tried them yet. (I doubt I'll ever do so, given how well these fit)br>br>First, get your last set of mirrors!br>br>- UPDATE - 1 YEAR OF ON-ROAD AND OFF-ROAD EXPERIENCE - It's been through a lot of falls and it's still in perfect condition. Definitely the best mod.
I bought these mirrors to put on my 2014 BMW F800GSA, but I couldn't get the adapter to fit in the opening at the handlebar without modifying the handguard mount because of the handguards I had. Thank you, but no thanks. I don't trim the mounts because these handguards have saved my hands numerous times. Instead, I installed them on the Suzuki Burgman 400 that my wife owns. (Suzuki mirrors are a piece of junk that never stay adjusted or tight. ) br>They are far superior to the Suzuki mirrors in terms of ease of installation. They're a little pricey, but considering the RAM mounting hardware and adaptors, they appear to be well worth it. The RAM ball mounts do not have a way to tighten them into the threaded adaptor, which is something I dislike. To get them snug enough, I had to use a high-quality vise grip.
