I. 1. The frames of mirrors are made of aluminum. Neither plastic nor nylon is allowed. I like it! 3. Is it anti Surfaces with glare coating
Neutral items I. 1. It is a small animal. With the limited vertical footprint, I would say they are roughly 2" x 4", which is more than adequate for seeing behind you, but they can be slightly tricky to get adjusted correctly. In order to adjust the mirror arms as high as possible, I had to loosen the clutch and brake perches, as well as rotate them a bit forwards. * * 2. The people who claim the mirror vibrates loose should understand that the ball joint tension can be altered using the two screws on the back of the mirror. As soon as you have the mirror where you want it, tighten the bolts until you don't see any movement. 1. 2. 3. It is very important to be careful NOT to strip out the much softer threading of the aluminum regardless of the circumstance. In addition, both a male and a female thread are covered with a thick layer of paint, making this procedure even more challenging. You just need to be careful, go slowly, and go in and out until the paint is worn down and the thread engages fully. There's a lot of threaded fittings around, and the aluminum seemed to be improperly tapped for a moment, but it wound up threading right in. Bad I. 1. next morning, I noticed that the fittings weren't stainless, and were showing tiny spots of rust anywhere they had come in contact with a wrench.
Thank you for the new mirrors on my 2015 Honda Ruckus! I'm very happy with what they look like. It was more expensive to buy them than just my one broken oem mirror. I'm probably going to buy them again if I break one (I broke one off my oem mirror, and was able to buy this for less than the replacement one).
It takes a lot of wrenching to keep these in place. The threads had some rust within a week, so I painted over it with some touch up paint and cleaned it You should make sure that these are the right size before you place your order.
Although they are okay to look at, the blue tint on the glass makes it difficult for you to see anything through In order to identify "something" behind you, the best you can do is look back. I wish you the best of luck figuring it out.
It is smaller than expected but I didn't read either, and it is a lot of mirror for the price. Make sure you check your set screws before you go out for a ride. The mirrors are gorgeous with their blue tint. Putting the set screws in the correct place, they wouldn't move after going 115, and I'm riding a cruiser so there's So far, I have received tons of complements.
These work fine and are fine in my opinion. As soon as I got them, the left one simply couldn't stay in place. It constantly wobbled and just caused me to be in To keep it in position, I glued the back to keep it in place once I had gotten it into the position I needed. In light of those remarks, I am not entirely sure if I would recommend this product.
I expected not to be able to expect much considering the price, but I am more than impressed. I rarely ride in the dark, so my mirrors have a blueish tint. The cheapest way to drive during the day. the 2010 Yamaha VStar that I use daily to commute. You can see them extremely clearly during the day because they look really good.
The mirrors fit perfectly on my Honda Ruckus and are just what I needed. After aligning them, I'm extremely pleased with how solidly they stay in place. I found these to be very comfortable and look good on my Ruckus.
