In 2017, I used this product for the first time on my 11-year-old daughter. year- Because the lenses had deteriorated, the old car's nighttime brightness and safety were compromised. I'm looking for a practical solution; I don't care if it fogs up or looks nice. In Northern California, the car is kept outside all year. The first outcome restored the lenses to their former glory! After about a year, the lens began to fog. By my standards, it lasted about three years before deteriorating to the point where it needed to be replaced.
It says to use it in the shade or in a confined space. On a cloudy day, I applied it outside. The sun shone for an hour after I applied it. It rained for the next two hours. Despite my unfavorable circumstances, the application was successful and I have had no problems.
I bought two kits and had enough materials to complete all three vehicles with ease; I think I could have done a fourth. br>It's been about 18 months since I completed the first, and it's still looking fantastic. br>The Clear Coat, the final step, will harden in the opened bottle over time.br>I recommend using the entire kit within two weeks. 4 months.

It was a good product. After one year, the lights began to dim. When I contacted the seller, they declined to assist me. Why put a "lifetime" warranty in your main item description if you can't keep it?.
I didn't get this from Amazon; instead, I got it from a local store, but the results are so incredible that I had to write a review. br>br>My Jeep Grand Cherokee was manufactured in 2002. The headlights were so bad that I didn't want to drive at night because I could only see a small blob of light maybe 20 feet ahead of me, if that. That was it; my headlights were a shambles. This kit appealed to me because, unlike the 3M headlight kit, it did not necessitate the use of a drill. I'm sure the 3m will take less time, but I chose this one because it included everything you'd need. Water (for wet sanding) and paper towels (to wipe the lights dry between sanding) were all that was required. br>br>It says 35 minutes on the box. I'm not sure who can do it in 35 minutes, but I'm sure someone can. 35 minutes PER LIGHT, maybe, but not for me. It took me about an hour to an hour and a half to complete the process. It's a straightforward task. The instructions are straightforward, and all of the items in the box are labeled "step 1," "step 2," and "step 3. "br>br>However, the results are disappointing. They continue to astound me. I saw some "results" photos and immediately assumed they were all fake. They aren't, and they won't be. It really is that good. This product has exceeded my expectations, and if it only lasts a few months, so be it. I'm going to try it once more. If your headlights need to be cleaned, this kit is for you! On a related note, my mother was so impressed with how well it worked that she demanded that I buy another kit and clean her headlights as well!.
Okay. Now it's your turn. It looks wonderful and CLEAR when completed if done correctly and with patience. It has a better cosmetic appearance and allows you to see better at night. I used it and was very pleased with it UNTIL. 2 MONTHS LATER. br>br> br>br>I have a 2003 Honda Accord with very hazy headlights. This worked for a while, but now it's even worse. It's been more than a year since we've seen each other. I've attempted numerous times to contact them because they provide a lifetime guarantee. I filled out the form and everything, but every phone number I've tried to call is disconnected, so I can't even get in touch with a customer service representative to assist me with my problem. So upset!.
Do not take the Lifetime Warranty into consideration. Every three months, you must apply again.
This is an excellent kit. br>br>My advice is to sit in a chair unless your vehicle is very tall. To make the physical labor easier, I bought two and placed one in front of each headlight. Each piece of sandpaper should be cut in half. I did this and labeled each "400L, 400R, 1000L, 1000R, etc. " on the back to keep track of which was used where. br>br>Take care not to overdo it. Step 1: Apply the activator You don't get much out of it, so you'll have to use it again. br>br>For water, I used my hose with the Mist setting on the nozzle. When sanding, there is no such thing as too much water. If you're unsure, sand with more water and less pressure. Blue painters tape is not water resistant. br>br>Multiple times watch the Sylvania YouTube video on the app. It provides reassuring guidance on what to expect. I wrote down the steps on paper and taped it to the inside of my hood so I could follow them exactly. Everything comes together in the sealer. br>br> You'll have plenty to work with, and you'll only need to apply one thick, even coat. br>br>For my headlights, I used a parallel approach: It's easier to keep track of materials usage if you do step 1 on both headlights, then step 2 on both headlights, and so on. br>br>Last time, I completed the work on a hot summer evening when I knew there would be no rain and no morning dew. Of course, there will be no driving the next day.
The only drawback is the amount of time it takes to complete the task. Although the marketing copy claims that it takes less than 30 minutes, I found that each light took about 60 minutes to install. As a result, instead of 30 minutes, it will take 2 hours. The restoration process has several steps, and I found myself re-doing them on a regular basis. I double-checked the instructions to make sure I hadn't done anything incorrectly. I'm sure it'll go faster the next time (though hopefully not for a long time!)br>br>The kit comes with several grades of sandpaper - You begin with the coarser paper and progress to the finer paper. During this time, the lens that covers your headlight becomes increasingly scuffed, until it looks much worse than it did when you first started. You'll be thinking to yourself, "OMG, what have I done?" along the way. Perhaps this kit is incompatible with my specific headlamp! " Don't give up, though - The final step is to put everything together, and your headlights should look as good as new. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
