I'm not sure what keeps them in place, but they have a snug fit that prevents them from falling down. I'm the proud owner of a 2020 Chevy Silverado Custom short bed.
Mine was a tight fit. Fits well and appears to be well-made. In fact, the instructions stated that you should use a long rod or something to pop them out from underneath.
The 2020 2500HD will fit perfectly, but the 2019 2500HD will not. If you have a 2019 2500HD, Amazon item B01MQVOJV0 will fit your rear stake pocket holes perfectly.

Pros: The parts are well-made and fit perfectly in the factory pockets. The textured pattern looks OEM and blends in well with the factory rails. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. For two small plastic parts, this is an astronomically high price. Parts are 3D printed rather than injection molded, and there are concerns about how well they will hold up over the vehicle's lifetime (prototyping is a short-term process). br>br>I work in product development and do 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing. br>br>I work in product development and do 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing. br>br>I work in product development and do 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing. I was planning on creating a CAD model and 3D printing my own parts, but I decided to buy these instead because they appeared to be injection molded. A spool of black ABS is around $50, and you can probably print 25 sets per spool, so you're really only paying $25 for design time.
They fit perfectly and are snug enough that they won't pop out. The finish blends in well with the bed's top. My only criticism is the cost - It seems a bit excessive to charge that much for a few pieces of plastic, but they identified a need and met it, and I and others obviously paid for it.
These stale pocket pocket covers fit perfectly and appear to be factory-made. Simple as that. These have a good tight fit and aren't rattling. I'd like to express my gratitude to the designer and fabricator for clearly putting a lot of thought into these. They appear to be 3D printed (which is a good thing) and have excellent detail. It's all the way down to the hidden logo that holds it all together. The texture, as you can see in the photos, is designed to look like the rail cover. While the fit should be obvious, there are clear instructions (including how to remove them) included in case you need them. Very well done.
The installation was simple and quick, and the 2020 Sierra 1500 looks factory-fresh. After installing a retractable bed cover, I needed something to cover the pockets, and this fits the bill nicely.
These are ideal for my 2020 Silverado. The design is identical to the previous model, but this is a 3D printed product that, while perfectly filling the hole, does not feel as solid as the injection mold/solid plastic versions. Does it make a difference? Probably not, once it's in the hole, it'll be fine; however, it's still a great product that does exactly what you need it to do, but it's a little pricey. I bought these and a few other things for my truck. They arrived ahead of schedule, even before the first anticipated delivery date. I put them in and taped them down with my hand, which made a huge difference. It gives me a flush bed rail with no holes, which I really like. I have no intention of adding a final real to my truck. The texture is almost identical to Chevrolet's original texture. I strongly advise anyone who wants a sleek look to use these inserts. This is the first 3D printed item I have ever purchased. I'm blown away by what a "printer" can accomplish. Continue to do a fantastic job.
These little ones slid into place with ease. These are simple enough for a child to put together. They blend in nicely with the top rails' texture. It has the appearance of an OEM product, and it gives the hole a nice finished look while keeping leaves and debris out. I'm not sure why Chevy isn't providing these. Addition that is both affordable and simple. The money was well spent. You're not going to be let down.
I ordered a tonneau cover for my 2021 Silverado crew cab short bed, but I was worried it wouldn't cover the two open rear stake pockets. These snaps were a bit of a splurge for me. They arrived quickly and in covers. In less than a minute, I had both of them up and running. Place the cover in the hole and smack it with a closed fist, and you're done. Fits perfectly and appears to be a genuine part of the bed rail. They should've come from Chevy to begin with. If you ever want to take them out, you'll need a 3' long 1/2" dowel rod to press up from the bottom. "You can have your job done Good, Fast, and Cheap," said a sign in my father's neighborhood repair shop. Pick two! " These covers are excellent and quick, but they are not inexpensive.
