I have a RAM 1500 from the year 2020 that has 5 cylinders. This fits fine with a 7' bed and no rambox or folding tailgate; it was a little tight at first, but the material stretches a little after a few days, and it now fits perfectly.
Each bed rail has an adjustment nut on the latches. Simply adjust the nut's tightness or looseness until the cover is secure. Mine has never caused me any issues.
It's probably one of the cheapest for a roll-up cover, and I've never had a problem with 5th wheels getting too close, and the rails are fine.
Truxedo's fitment chart matches ours - Rambox is not required for this step. br>2013 Dodge Ram 2500 8-Ft. (98. 3 In. ) Without Ramboxbr>Thank you for taking the time to read this - Autonotions LLC is a company that specializes in providing services to

It was easy to install, taking about 30 minutes, and is well-engineered. The clamps themselves are excellent. br>As others have pointed out, the tension on this cover is difficult to adjust. The description on Amazon is incorrect. br>br>It works, but I think it could be an inch longer. In the front, 1/2", and in the back, 1/2. The tailgate's design is primarily to blame. br> It loses a star as a result of this. br>br>When I complained to TruXedo about the lack of a manual tensioning device on this cover, they advised me to purchase another product. However, their description claims that it comes with the device, so how would I know what to order? br>br>I'm taking away a star for that response. TruXedo is being extremely deceptive.
I decided to try a rollup and compared this cover to another comparable higher-end soft cover. This one appealed to me because of the canvas look, the fact that the cover (not the rails) can be removed, and the flat, low-pro appearance. It took about 30 minutes to set up. br>br> For the best seal fitment, make sure to read the instructions. If necessary, the rolled-up cover can be removed in about 10 seconds after it has been installed. It has a single latch system that appears to be much more well-made than cheaper covers. The built-in tensioner adjusts itself to weather changes, which is convenient, and you can tell the difference in quality between this one and a low-cost internet special. In the month that I've had it, I haven't had any leaks. However, because this cover does not sit on the rails, there are gaps between the tailgate and the bed where water can get in. This could be fixed with a tailgate seal. br>br>Another reason I chose this cover is because it comes with a lifetime warranty. This is my first truxedo cover, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I've always liked Extang, but I'm glad I went with the Pro X15. For a more detailed review, check out my YouTube video "truxedo pro x15 vs extang trifecta. " Because the file was too large to upload, I was unable to do so. In the end, if you want a good rollup, buy it.

br>This item was returned to JB Truck Sales within days of being received. No returns will be accepted. br>br>For the money, this is a good cover. Rolls up nicely, is simple to put together, and the components appear to be of good quality. Because of the shape of the Ram's tailgate, it's difficult to get a waterproof cover for it, and this cover is no exception. br>br>However, your Ramboxes will not be fully functional once installed. You can open them halfway but they will not stay open and must be slammed shut. If you push them up with moderate force, they'll stay up but get caught in the track, which doesn't sound good when closing and pushes any weatherstripping along the rambox's back edge up and out of the way. It's a cinch to install because they use the RamBox utility track, but there's simply not enough room for the box to rotate open and get past the cover rail (which sits on top of the silver Ram utility rail). I couldn't figure out how to shim or adjust it to make it work on either side. br>br>I really wanted these to work, but they're not a good fit for this vehicle. I believe they would be 4 to 4 for a typical vehicle. Easily 5 stars, particularly for the price. A low-profile "in bed" or "lo-profile" For the 2019 Ram with Rambox, "pro" would be a better option (and cost more).
With such a new model year, I was a little hesitant, but Truxedo was confident that this model number 584901 would work with the 2020 5'7" with RAMBOX, and it did! It's simple to put together, has a nice appearance, and is weatherproof. It looks great, conceals the contents of the bed, and has a handy locking latch.
The packaging was excellent, and the cover was equally so. In 20 minutes, I had it on the truck, but I had to read the instructions because my truck bed had a liner on it, and it showed that I needed to put the foam strip on the cover, not the truck bed, or it wouldn't stick. Thank goodness, the instructions were clear and detailed. It is without a doubt one of my favorites. I was also blown away by the fact that the person who packed it was also placed inside the box. At its finest, pride and professionalism.
This is a very high-quality product. a good roll-out Tonneau cover that can be raised. The cover is sturdy, the bar attachments are strong, and the rails and other components are sturdy and well-made. designed. br>br>Initially, there was a mix-up in my order, which is why I deducted one star. I opened the box, sorted through all of the bracket bags and instructions, and discovered that I had received brackets for a silverado/sierra truck. I double-checked the box's exterior and saw that it was a 6'4" Ram box. Truxedo was closed after 6 p. m. EST, so I sent them an email; the next morning, after 9 a. m. EST, I called them and spoke with Kevin. Kevin was willing to assist, but he needed the unit's serial number, pictures of the box, the brackets I received, pictures of the rails, a copy of my Amazon invoice, and so on. In general, I got the impression that Kevin didn't understand what I was talking about and that the error was somehow my fault. I couldn't do anything about it until I got home from work, so I hung up, unsure whether I should return it or not. br>br>An hour later, I received an email from Tasha at Truxedo in response to my initial contact. Tasha read my email and said she only needed my shipping address and apologized for the error. They used FedEx to send the brackets out that same day. Tasha is a customer service expert. br>br>It took 9 days, including weekends, to get everything I needed due to the bracket mixup. The time spent waiting was well worth it.
