Yes, without a doubt. You can simply roll up with the rails in place. You can also remove the rails by loosening the two screws near the top of the cab.
No, I'm driving a 2016 Ford F 150 with this. In Florida, I've been outside for the past two years. sweltering temperatures, raging storms, With it, I was able to weather Hurricane Irma! It is without a doubt an exceptional cover that is heavy duty, well made, and reasonably priced! IT DOES NOT LEAK IF IT IS APPLIED PROPERLY! It's also very simple to fold up with two clamps, and then it tri-folds. To fully open the box area, it folds to the back window with a strap. It took me twenty-five minutes. to put in place I like it, but why should I pay $500 for it? $1000. For one, it'll set you back 00. What good does it do? Dennis

If only it were possible to give it a five-star rating. This is a good cover for the money. If it hadn't leaked water while going through the car wash or during a rainstorm, I would have given it five stars. I wasn't too worried because I wouldn't be wearing my tuxedo to bed. However, as a retired engineer, I was confident that the issue could be resolved. This leak issue has been brought up in a number of other reviews. So here's my solution (which will almost certainly void the warranty, but what the heck - I'd prefer a weather-based forecast. a snug fit) The clamps are too far away from the corners, which is the primary issue. So I simply unscrewed each cross brace from the side member and slid the entire assembly back for the rears and forward for the fronts. On each, you'll need to go about 5 inches. When folding the rear cross beam, it must clear the middle cross beam, so if you don't go far enough, it will bind with the middle section and fold poorly. Thankfully, they were able to use self-defense techniques. You won't have to drill any new holes because the frame is made of aluminum. A battery-operated camera was used. Set the slip clutch at around 80% (ymmv) with a powered drill with a long extension. If you go in and out a couple of times when it binds up, the screws will eventually chew a new hole. Allow a few seconds for the clutch to slip. Also, on the front corners, I used 1/8" dense foam strips. I had only gone up to the inner edge of the side cap with the supplied thick foam strips, not over it. The cover corner gaskets aren't quite tight enough, as it turns out. So, before the fix, I could see light coming in from the corners of the bed. There are no leaks now that it is completely dark inside! Tyger should have caught on to this problem and corrected the design long ago. As an added precaution, I'd like to see a clamp for the center section. By the way, my fix is simple to undo and return to the original locations. Make sure you don't overdo it. Tighten the clamps as much as possible. After moving the cross beams, I discovered that sealing the corners required less clamping force.
It looks good, keeps my bed dry, and the price is unbeatable. It was very simple to put on and it looks fantastic. Because of my truck's plastic side rail tops, there was a large gap in the front, so it's nice that it comes with some weather stripping. Despite the fact that it rained the entire 9-hour drive, all of our luggage in the bed remained dry. This purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
Spending money on the more expensive ones is a waste of money. This is what I just installed on my 2018 F150 Stx (6. Today, I checked out the 7 bed) and it looks fantastic, man. It's still too early to tell how good it really is. However, for the price, it's a no-brainer. There's no reason to spend any more money than this. Snug and close-fitting. It looks fantastic on you. It took 45 minutes to put it together. br>The bar piece of the cover/or that spans across the front of the bed by the cab is the only flaw I can think of. There's nothing to "hold" it down in the middle. It's not loose or a serious problem right now, but it could use a little help in the middle. We'll see how it goes on the highway and if the wind has any effect. If there are any problems, I'll let you know. If you need a tonneau cover, this is a great deal. br>br>***update*** Use the weather strip that came with it. It says it's for specific situations, which aren't mentioned in the directions, if my memory serves me correctly. There is a noticeable gap between the cover base piece and the bed because of the water that got in. The solution is straightforward. It would be nice if it mentioned to use the weather strip. It should be the very first step in the installation procedure.
Update after six months Well, I liked it a lot when I first got it for my 2018 F150, but all good things must come to an end. Perhaps I received a shoddy product, or perhaps my expectations for a less expensive tonneau cover were too high. It installs easily, but the cover has stretched to the point where it looks like a parachute when driving down the highway after 6 months of light use. As I installed it and rolled it back one time to use the entire bed, I stress the importance of light use. Aside from that, it's just on the back, where the heat, cold, and humidity are absorbed. Because I live in the Northeast, the four seasons may be unkind. If I were you, I would bite the bullet and invest in a high-end cover from a reputable manufacturer. You'll be glad you did, because if you don't, you'll be like me and have to replace it in 6 months.
If you pay attention to detail, you won't be able to complete the initial installation in less than 5 minutes. You should take your time and look for gaps in order to properly seal and align it. Weather stripping of decent quality is included with the cover. This is true for both thick and thin strips. From start to finish, the installation probably took me about 30 minutes. The seal appears to be adequate, and the quality appears to be excellent. At the moment, there is a hurricane off the coast, and only time will tell how it will fare when it rains. As long as it keeps my golf clubs dry in the Florida rain, I'll give it five stars. After about a month, I'll revise my review.
The Tyger Tri-Fold was purchased by me. Foldable truck bed cover for 2016 Ford Supercrew with 5. 9L engine. 5 ft. bed. The cover fits perfectly and is simple to put on and take off as needed. I've had the cover for about a year and a half and am extremely happy with it. Reno, Nevada, received an unusually large amount of snow. Last year, there was up to a foot of snow on the cover overnight before I could get out and broom it off, and the cover held up admirably. The cover looks brand new after cleaning, even though temperatures reached over 100 degrees this summer (2017). The material is of excellent quality, as is the workmanship. br>It was one of the best investments I've ever made. This book comes highly recommended.
For a year, I debated whether to get a rolling cover, a soft cover, or a slim cross toolbox for my new 5-foot shortbed. F150 (1/2') F150 (1/2') F150 (1/2') F After reading several reviews, I decided to give the Tyger a try. I put it in a few months ago and I'm very happy with it. I didn't expect it to be "water tight," but despite heavy Texas rains, there are no leaks. The wife will find it very easy to use. In about 45 minutes, I had the system up and running. For proper fit at the tailgate, I had to re-adjust several times. When not in use, the front of the bed weather strip can be rolled up to within inches of the cab. I'm very happy.
