It's simple and easy to understand

It is actually much easier to use this replacement hoist, since there is no clip that gets rusted or dried out and stuck on the original hoist. It is just a matter of taking out one bolt and replacing the old unit with the new one. I love how simple this is. It's a good idea to grease it to keep from corroding and or drying out from the elements of course, cranking it down a couple of times a year won't hurt, the old one I took off probably never came down and just rust away.

My 2008 Silverado had no problems installing it and it fitted perfectly. The bolt was the only thing that needed to be attached. What a simple concept! To prevent corrosion, I applied grease to the wire cable on the advice of a friend.
