INSTALLATION - This accessory is simple to install on the back of your Jeep Wrangler. There is no need to cut anything to install the EAG Trail Jack Mount.

Questions & Answers

Does this mount work with the JL's Mopar tailgate reinforcement?

Any aftermarket tailgate reinforcements, I believe, would require a longer bolt. I needed M10x1 for ridge reinforcement because I had rugged ridge reinforcement. Bolts with a diameter of 5x70mm.

Is it possible to secure the jack to the mount by using a lock?

Yes, you can secure the Jack to the mount with a cable lock. I did, in fact, use a gun lock.

Is this going to work with a 37?

Whether you attach it to the factory hinges or not is a factor. It worked with my 35" tires (tight), but it made a lot of noise, so I had to redo it on the front hood. I couldn't have made a better decision.

On a JL, what size spare tire will this fit? Will it fit with a 35-inch spare tire on the back gate?

Yes, a 35-inch tire will fit.

His farm jackstand was incredibly simple to set up. . . It works flawlessly, though I do wish there was a way to make the jack itself a little quieter, LOL.
