No, it won't rust; however, I'm not sure if it will melt.

This 1MM wire is easy to bend. I'm not sure how you'd make a playable toy. Cats are notorious for being rough with their toys, and this wire could easily ruin the toy and injure the cat. Sorry.

I needed to beef up the sturdiness of my home improvement projects. This wire is extremely light and bendable. Normal scissors can be used to cut it. To get the thickness I need, I double the wire.

While I prefer copper wire, this silver aluminum wire is a nice, manipulable wire that is enjoyable to work with. It's what I use to work on my skills. It has a hard time keeping its shape. Even so, I'd purchase it again.

It is far too soft to be used for jewelry. Maybe it's better for sculpting, but if you're looking for jewelry wire like I was, you'll have to look elsewhere.
