While attempting to rebuild a 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old 50-year-old I melted the aluminum feedline on my year-old broadcast (OTA) TV antenna and have been looking for a suitable replacement for the past year (aluminum is no longer very popular in electrician circles due to overheating and causing fires, but this wire is perfect for low voltage antenna work). It will also be used for ham radio VHF and UHF projects.
However, when I purchased it, I had no idea what I was doing. I thought 11 gauge (1/8") would make a good rigid hoop, so I purchased it. Although I was mistaken, it was entirely my fault.
Quick delivery is always a plus. However, because the wire appears to have been unwound and then crudely wound back on the spool, I'm not sure if the roll I received contains a full 130' of wire. On the outside, there are no kinks or gouges, so only time will tell how well it holds up during use. br>.
It serves its purpose.
