Product Description

The grids in this 8-1/2 inch square are printed in black and white at an easy-to-read scale of 1/8 and 1/4 inch increments, and the markings are easy to read. For cutting whole inches, simply use the white dots on the black numbers (the numbers are easy to read) and 1/4 inch grip sides.

Two 1/4-inch dashed lines are printed on adjacent sides of the envelope to assist in trimming the seam allowance. You can add the 1/2 inch seam allowance by using the patented Turn-A-Round feature - signified by the easy to read, white numbers (printed on black dots), and the 1/2 inch grip sides.

There is a black 45 degree angle on the ruler which is used to trim half-square triangles to size. White horizontal and vertical lines are printed on the ruler so you can easily tell where the center of the ruler is. To square up or sew blocks based on four-patches or embroidered and appliquéd blocks, use these lines

Can you tell me how thick these are? How are they made? Are they plexiglass or mat material?

There is nothing better than this The ruler is about the thickness of 1/2 inch, the same thickness But the back of the ruler has textured grips so it is easier to use than most other quilting rulers.

The human factor is at work with creative grids

One of those yellow jobs was in the thrift store box, so I put it there. A ruler like this indicates that human factors were considered when it was designed. The chances of making a mistake are slim to none! Check to see if I'm at 7 p. m. Are you referring to the 5 or 7 inch measurement? It is by far the best ruler, it looks great and you know you'll find it when you glance at it. We clearly separate a half inch from a whole inch and show the sizes in larger numbers. I used to have older rulers that were all dinged up, so I purchased this one to replace them.

It's difficult to find a ruler as good as Creative Grids'

Those who do not On the back there is a textured bit that is amazing. In the past, I have always bought the cheapest ruler I could find, but after getting a Creative Grids ruler once, I noticed I prefer them. My workflow seems to be accommodated well by this one. The blade is out on my cutting table constantly so that I can trim and cut fabrics. A 2 is the best I've gotten so far. From them as well, there is a 5" x 18" ruler that is awesome! Make sure you give Creative Grids a try if you are a quilter. Now I don't want to go back to my old rulers There are so many sizes that I can find almost anything. They don't slip, are easy to read, and don't slip at all. In general, the prices are fairly competitive with the competition (Amazon lists them at overpriced prices sometimes, so check local quilt shops and look elsewhere to confirm this).

The square rulers are now in my possession, so I can measure the fabric for the bags This ruler has an excellent grip on the back - I love it! The ruler doesn't slide on the fabric because this keeps it in place. In addition, I appreciate how clearly marked they are.

It is my pleasure to be associated with Creative Grids. I'm actually replacing most of my other ones as I can afford to do so. I now use this ruler size as my default. If you don't have an 8" square and a 6"X24", you can make do with 6" square and 6"X24 and I'll just make do with both. You need a square of 5"! The six are also part of the package. There is also a 5" square and a As you can see, things are going well!.
