As far as I know, there has never been an alternative ruler to the Perfect 10. The Creative Grids app has a 10 rating. There are different markings on both rulers, but they both measure 5 inches square.
Black markings on a clear background. Among my collection of rulers, this one was the one I used to cut wide strips at nine inches. Markings on the board are very clearly visible.

To trim 90 10 inch squares, I needed to cut 90 10 inch The adjustable rulers I had allowed me to get a 10 inch square, but cutting 90 like this seemed daunting to me. It's fantastic to have a 10 inch ruler like this. I received my order within 24 hours.
With the solid black line of 45 degrees, I have been able to cut half square triangles perfectly. I recommend this tool for quilters.
