About a few years ago, I splurged on a couple hundred dollars worth of "bloc loc" rulers. After all they have done for me in my sewing room, I could easily use them as dinner plates in the kitchen. Bloc loc does not work for me since I like pressing my seams open. It's so easy to use, so easy to read, and will work well with any type of seam and best of all, it has an integrated non-slip rubber foot. (I've bought several creative grids rulers lately). You don't need to add anything to the ruler for it to be completely functional right out of the box. Circles can be added directly to the ruler. I bought this ruler along with a couple of other squares and two 18 inch length sizes and am pleased with all of them. My previous rulers have included Omnigrid, bloc loc, and even a few Riley Blake rulers, but I’ll continue to use Creative Grids due to its ease of use and affordable price.
In particular, I am a fan of the rulers made by Creative Grids. It is a hobby I enjoy quite a bit. recently purchased two rulers one was 7/8 inches in width and the other was 6 1/2 inches in width. I was fine with the 7/8 ruler, and I was really disappointed with the 6 1/2 ruler! In the case of the 7/8 ruler, an instruction sheet was added to the ruler. I should have realized something was wrong when I did not receive one. Wrapped in something like Saran wrap, the six and a half was pretty fragile. I found the quality of the product to be below what I'm used to The imitation did not live up to the original. This is a kind of deceptive practice that Amazon has taken advantage of by mixing counterfeit products with real items and charging the full price. I don't appreciate these I am thus having to cut down on my Amazon shopping!.
I originally bought this ruler for a specific use, but I now use it daily for other things as well. Since this ruler is so easy to read as well as self-gripping, it's very convenient for me. This makes using it easier because I bought a $1 phone clip and attached it to it. I have now attached these phone clips to most of my other rulers as well. It has been a pleasure to do business with you.
My favorites are the Creative Grid rulers. I've tried other brands but have always come back to the Creative Grid rulers. Despite the fact that the ruler's lines fade, they remain clear. Despite the lines being tight, the text is readable. Cut fabrics are held steady in place with the help of rulers. In the case of people who value durability, these are a good investment.
Since COVID came into effect, most of us have been staying home when we are not in The Creative Grids ruler was recommended since it is less likely to slide around on fabric when using a rotary blade on it. My only complaint is that it was a little pricey but it was genuinely worth it. This is the best ruler I have ever used In the future, I will be searching for more information.
I am in awe of this! It is easy to trim things on this ruler owing to the Creative Grids grippy dots that don't slide around. I have issues however. I'm trying to trim down a 3 to make it 2. The product of 5 and 3 is 5. The area of five squares. The light bulb goes off. By flipping the ruler, I altered the direction of the lines. It is marked for 1 inch, 2 inch, etc. from the edge of each corner. A 1 1/2-inch marker is used for the opposite corner, a 2 1/2-inch marker for the opposite corner, etc. That's what I love about Without this ruler, how was I able to live?.
A fifth ruler of the Creative Grid brand was purchased by me. There is no better product on the market than Creative Grid's! My first thought was to send this back to Amazon. Those who do not A two-pice defect is present on the underside of the ruler along one edge of the slip gripping material. It is my sincere hope that this will not affect the ease at which the ruler is used to cut fabric (I don't think it will slip). It is not my intention to target Creative Grid, but rather, it is more likely the rough handling that resulted in this ruler's imperfections.
It is very clear to read the measurements on any color fabric and it has circles that make the rulers not slide simultaneously with cutting, so I can easily use it for all my applications that require me to use it. Overall, the 6. 5" size is perfect for many of my tasks. This is something I would recommend.
