Awful
3/5

Time and money have been wasted on this. Be careful who you buy from. Who are the people who are praising this paper so much? br>br>I'm updating my review of this paper because I initially gave it a pass. Because of the pandemic's financial strain, I purchased a paper that I wasn't sure about. I found out the hard way. However, I have accepted the fact that it is, in fact, the paper. She'll have to wait a little longer now that she's gone through the whole package in order to create a painting for a friend whose dog died. br> This is a terrible paper. I found it impossible to use the wet on wet technique because it would turn into a pile of s*t right in front of your eyes. Does not withstand scrubbing or lifting. However, after the umpteenth sheet, I was extra careful not to scrub or use too many washes, but it didn't matter. Almost immediately, the paper begins to pill. You'd be better off painting a piece of cardboard, because the entire package, as well as 6 months of my life, is now gone. a good portion of my priceless professional-grade paints br> To say I was disappointed would be putting it mildly. br>br>"I was dissatisfied with how easily this paper could be damaged. Perhaps because I am used to working on 100% cotton and I am used to working on 100% cotton and I am not pulp made from wood If you're not careful, the paper will quickly degrade and become a shambles. Unfortunately, a portrait that I was pleased with and thought was close to completion is no longer available. I think I'm going to have to start over.

Beautiful watercolor paper that is easy to work with and has a nice deckled edge
5/5

There were no kinks or damage to the paper when it arrived, and it was wrapped flat. It's thick and absorbent, and it holds up well to washing. I usually start with a pen drawing and then use drippy watercolor to fill in the gaps. On the shorter sides, there's a decked edge. Excellent value for the excellent quality.

This is the one that I use

to paper. These are painted with acrylics, which I enjoy. I've got a lot of experience in this field. It's possible that you'll buckle a little, but it'll be nothing to worry about. For mixed media pieces, I frequently paint on it and then slice it with a razor. With a sharp blade, it cuts easily. They were delivered loose in a large plastic bag inside a large cardboard envelope. br>br> I'm glad I didn't have to buy a more expensive full book because of the prompt delivery. I'm going to buy more.

There Isn't a Pack - Only one sheet of paper was given to me

It was supposed to be a paper pack. We were only given one sheet instead. Returned.

a good, mid-range watercolor paper of a certain thickness This paper is ideal for when you need a painting to fill a space that isn't quite right
4/5

extra-shaped or shaped a big frame It's light, but if it warps while you're painting with watercolors, simply spray the back with water and lay something flat on top while it dries. It should be able to flatten out fairly quickly. br>br>My only criticism is that it is slightly off-kilter. If you frame it with a sharp white mat, you'll notice it.

This product, 140 full sheets of Strathmore watercolor paper, is one of my favorites
4/5

Their 400 series is one of their most popular models. While I like the paper, I'm disappointed that all 10 sheets have a light crease running the length of the paper, which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I'm going to use acrylics, and I think it'll work out fine. The packaging was in excellent condition and did not appear to have been tampered with. I'm currently comparing papers for use, and I'll be ordering this Strathmore again without a doubt.

For pencil drawings, it's fantastic
5/5

I've been primarily using these sheets for pencil work (although I did do one color with watercolor and prismacolor). I smudge the paper with paper towels and smudge pencils and erasers quite a bit, and it still holds up. I was so taken with it that I purchased a second set of paper. It buckled a little when it came to the watercolor and prismacolor pencil. But not to the point of bothering me. The paper appeals to me greatly. And I'm sure I'll keep buying it for my pencil sketches. Instead, I chose 300lb paper for watercoloring with prismacolor.

Paper of exceptional thickness and quality! Nice quality paper—thick, good texture, absorbs water well without much warping (no warping if thoroughly taped down)
5/5

It's a little tricky to rip evenly for a nice edge, but with enough folding and an edge, it's doable. It's a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I bought it for a couple of projects in a college-level watercolor class and was very pleased with it. br>I would recommend starting with smaller paper for beginners because it is less expensive to go over if you make a lot of mistakes. This is a good option if you're ready to take on a big project.
