Questions & Answers
Hello, I've finally gotten around to responding to your question about the Strathmore Kids. It weighs roughly half as much as 140. As a result, she's quite frail. On one side of the watercolor paper, there is a textured side, and on the other side, there is a smoother texture. It's not 140, believe it or not. However, I believe it to be excellent for children. And I've used this weight of paper a lot, and it makes lovely watercolors, but it wrinkles and needs to be ironed after drying to return to its smooth state.
Acrylic paint is a breeze to work with.
Because it's a paint pad, it'll probably be fine. But, because this was a gift, and I haven't seen the pad in person, I can't say for sure.
They are completely devoid of information. Watercolors and other school art projects will be a breeze with this paper's weight. My personal favorite when it comes to my grandchildren's artwork.

These paint pads are a lot of fun for me. I usually buy them at Walmart (they're cheaper there, btw), but I had a gift card and decided to order one from Amazon. These are fantastic; the paper isn't too thin, so the paint doesn't bleed through. The pages are easily torn, making it ideal for framing! My three-year-old enjoys painting alongside me, and there are many pages to enjoy. I would strongly suggest it =).
I was overjoyed when I came across this canvas paper pad. My kids can paint on thicker paper than printing paper for a fraction of the cost of a class of canvases. br>br>Pad is of excellent quality at an affordable price. br>br>Highly recommended.
They're not as thick as high-quality watercolor paper, but they're thick enough to handle watercolors without wrapping the paper. For what it is, you can't beat the price.
I'm overjoyed that I was able to get it for him! We purchased an extra paint pad and paints for him, and he now has them at both his home and Nana and Papa's!.
This paper has been fantastic for both our family and my elementary art classes. Watercolors, chalk pastels, oil pastels, and India ink have all been used with it. Even kids who use multiple layers of paint and enough water to allow fish to swim in it do well with this paper. It is forgiving and durable enough to manipulate without costing a fortune. We place this order on a regular basis!.
This was purchased for my 6-year-old son as a Christmas present (along with a paint kit). The paper is thick and sturdily constructed - He didn't let any of his paint bleed through. Which, if you've ever watched a small child paint, you'll know is a good thing! For basic painting needs, I would strongly recommend this.
Watercolor paper with a weight of 140 lb that holds paint and shape well. If only I had the talent to match it.
What is it about this paper that has people so upset? It's great for watercolor and acrylic painting, as well as markers and other craft projects. This isn't your average printer paper; it's thick and heavy.
