These cards are for sale on Amazon.
I was unsure, so I used my watercolors to test the envelopes. I wouldn't recommend using these envelopes for any watercolor application because the paper balls up when I use watercolors on it. On Amazon, I purchased paper materials that are specifically designed for use with watercolors - I bought some white notecards and envelopes on Amazon a few months ago. However, these are note cards, not standard business envelopes. I hope this has been of assistance.

I expected Strathmore to be a high-quality brand, but these cards have disappointed me. In some places, the paper appears to be water resistant. It's not like any other watercolor paper I've used before; it has very little texture and doesn't absorb water as well as it should.
These are fantastic. I don't have to wait or rush to the store if I receive an unexpected gift and need to say "Thank you" or "Sympathy. " I went out and bought some colored gel pens and decided to make my own. br>Do you have grandkids visiting and aren't sure what to do with them? Take these cards and have them make cards for their parents to tell them how much fun they are having at Grandma's house. br>It works well not only with water colors, but also with watercolor pencils and gel pens.
I was expecting the same cold press paper as Strathmore's 140lbs/400 series watercolor journals and pads, but it is not, and it is significantly less expensive. I can tell it's thinner, and the envelopes are made of low-quality paper - I would compare the envelope to a dollar store envelope because the paper is thinner than that of a Hallmark envelope. Next time, I'll either purchase a different brand or make my own cards using watercolor paper.
I've been making cards out of a watercolor pad, which I've been cutting and folding. These are going to be a huge improvement. I really like the fact that they come with an envelope.
Unfortunately, the price is far too high for the value. I'm not doing it again, and I'm cutting my own hair right now. I'm willing to pay $25 for a 9x12 block. as well as 100 larger, higher-quality cards.
I really like the paper's quality and how well they're made! In a matter of minutes, I can make a card! These will be reordered as many times as necessary!.
Water coloring is not recommended. instead of using paint, I used alcohol markers Will buy more in the future for other projects.
