As I have tried and tested it with watercolor, I wouldn't be surprised if it works with gouache as well

In response to SPIRAL BOUND ARTEZA WATERCOLOR BOOK
THE GOOD NON-SPRAWL BOUND HARDCOVER BOOK ARTEZA, THE BOOK There is a lot of paper here. In this case, the markers (TomBow) can be used on both sides of the paper without bleeding through, which is a nice feature. I have a bad habit It is difficult to flip back and forth between the front and back covers. usually flip the front to the back of the book when I work, so it's easier to see what I'm doing. There are only eight pages in the book, and I have already seen that the wire binding has come out of some of the You can see a photo of that here.
When used on the back of the paper, an eraser will create a pill on the surface. It seems to me that by Arteza both sides of the paper should not be considered two pages. It has now come to my attention that some of the reverse sides (backs) of some pages have creases since I first started reading the book. There are six creases on the photos. A page such as this would not allow you to do any serious work. Please take a moment to read the following information There is a difference between the texture of the front and back of the paper The front of the shirt has a bit of texture, When I am working with watercolors I prefer Strathmore Visual Watercolor Journal. However, I would not recommend it for marker work if you want to use My watercolor work is mostly done in the Pentelac Aqua Journal. It's amazing how beautiful that journal is! The wires have never come out of the holes from any of the Visual Journals (Mixed Media, Watercolor) that I have used, and I have used them for many In addition to practice projects, I use the Arteza Watercolor spiral book for study purposes My serious watercolor work is done on cold press paper from Arches.
It will serve as a watercolor journal when I use liquid watercolors in it. As for using liquid watercolors, I haven't attempted to paint on it with pan watercolors, but when using liquid it instantly absorbs the color. can be no spreading or blending of the colors. As well as bleeding through to the other side of the paper, it also dries very fast. There is no need to resubmit The color should be moved around as you wet the area. This might just be due to the fact that liquid watercolors are more convenient than With brush pens and with water blended brush pens, it seems to play nicely together. Use it wisely. Just be careful how you.
They are indispensable. bought another one for a friend as a gift, making this my third order of these books. Among my journals is one I use as my nature journal and the others I use for drawing practice, small paintings, and all sorts of other stuff The class work is due today. The appear pressed and there is not much tooth turning, so they are perfect for washing and doing laundry, but I also do all my work on these. There has been no warping or buckling in my wet on wet paintings, which have been full page wet on wet pieces. If I want to mask with tape or art tape, I do not need to use masking fluid, since These pieces are gems, especially at their price. When you order two books, you will receive two.
I would recommend this pad to anyone who wants to paint with watercolors. My laptop has been with me for more than 3 months. The only thing I noticed and think others should be aware of is that there are a few things that should be addressed when you purchase 1 *br* A) The paper is easy to tear. You can erase a file for example. The slightest touch can make a huge difference Whenever you attempt to erase your drawing, portions of the paper come apart and cling to the eraser, making erasing difficult. The second one. will also come apart if you attempt to paint on top of it with watercolors or with water-based paints
In conclusion, I think that this sketchbook would be good for beginners who want to experiment with watercolors. Although I've had to be careful not to add too many layers of paint or water, I've been able to manage with the paper coming apart (attached is the drawing). believe this sketchbook would be perfect if the paper weren't prone to falling apart so easily.
As far as quick sketches go, I did not find the paper to be of high quality. Neither I nor anyone else would want to frame or sell any We could not wash the stock smoothly because the stock was too coarse.
Despite the thickness of the paper, I like it very much. The whiteness of the sketch book is also much better than that of a different brand name company. Since I work with a lot of mixed media, the other just wasn't doing the job. This is a book I definitely recommend if you want it spiral bound. It was returned to me with the glued top. One side is very smooth and seems like it would be ideal for pencils and, well, well, anything else I often A woven texture is present on the other side of the fabric. The smooth side of the book was always facing me, so I simply turned the book around. In my definition of "smooth," I'm not referring to shiny. Colored pencils and water colors can get and hold some good pigment with this tack. The textured side of the product does not appeal to me. There may be a lot of canvas in this and it may attract others more. My general opinion of the company's products is positive, and I plan to buy from them in the future. I think they are on the up and up in the pro-life arena The target audience for this product is the consumer market (those who want high-quality products, but are not professionals, so spending $400 on markers does not make
The one media that this probably would not be appropriate for is alcohol markers (such as Copics or EverBlends). (Thickness and porosity? As ink through), the pen suckers ink. The discovery of alcohol markers (Spectrum Noir) has just happened to me and I was just getting into it. Do not hold it against them, I got it primarily for pencils, watercolours, and acrylics, and it works very well for all of.
It is of good quality, but on the heavy side. Paper (resistant to washing Covers front and back that are stiff and heavy, and have protective coverings. As you might expect, the front and back of every page are watercolor paper. The backside is smooth, which makes it suitable for drawing/painting which needs a Price for a two-bedroom apartment that is reasonable Pack up! These are great! I am very happy with them!.
This paper is thick, but does not handle water well and warps quite a bit. I feel that the back side of the print takes watercolor better, slightly better, than the front side, despite the front having more "toothed" lines. Using a lot of water isn't good for watercolor, but as long as you don't get it too wet, it's still usable. Lines and washes are mostly what I'll use it for. on the cover label will lead you to believe that the publication contains 64 pages. The pages are not 64, but 32 per book.
