Colored pencil, microns, pencil, and sometimes Inktense are the media I use. In addition to color pencil and pencil, it works very well to blend them. Due to the fact that I do not work with charcoal, I cannot offer any comments on it. It may be possible for someone else to do so.
don't think it could be worked with a light box because it is too thick. Using it for zentangles, which require heavyweight paper, was a great choice. I was able to use it with Fabre Castell Pitt pens and Micron I enjoyed the crisp lines that both pens made and no bleed.

The paper I use for drawing has been with me This is what was recommended by many of the professors of Painting and Printmaking at the art school I attended for drawing and even for experimenting with things like screen printing art. And it's good for portraits as well. Having used this for decades, I'm used to it. Since I stopped selling serious items on any other paper brand, I have never sold anything else. You can erase quite a bit and it holds up well.
Buyers like to hear that it is thick and won't wrinkle or fold with normal handling, and it is acid-free archival quality, so it will last a long time. We are not dealing with a piece of paper that is loose or delicate. Unlike paper, which starts to deteriorate if you erase in one spot four or five times or tears through after several uses, this graph paper is smooth, fairly tough, and resilient. There was never a problem like that here. There are no sharp edges or protrusions on the surface. It absorbs pencil pretty well since it's smooth, thick, and compact. I feel like I'm starting over with a blank sheet with quality work when I sit down to do it. You can see two images of drawings made on this document so you can get an idea of how detailed it is. It is easy for me to use pencil as well as their toned toned watercolors, charcoal, pastels, and even pencil on this one. You save some time with toned papers by using the mid tones you'll probably build up anyway, and they offer a nice atmosphere, but white papers offer that crisp brightness you need if you're going to use In order to determine what paper to use for a project I was working on, I wrote to the company and explained my situation. I asked if I could try a sample of it. A couple of free samples of papers they thought I might like were sent to me by these courteous people. Consider checking out their website and sending them an email to see if they can give you insight or help with something. Thanks for reading!.
My favorite thing about this paper is how well it layers. A realistic portrait and realistic flower are the kind of work that I do. Whenever I use colored pencils, I use prisma brand.
The size is just right for commissions, it works great with colored.
I have never had a worse experience with a drawing paper. "Velum" refers not just to the brand of paper, but also the type of paper. One instructor recommended it, but the majority did not. The smooth finish would be better for me since I now know the difference. When it comes to shading, the smooth surface is more manageable. As you can see, the effect is lighter now. When you draw on vellum, you get an even shading, but the drawing is darker. My opinion is that it's dirtier. If it were done in watercolor or any other medium, it would work fine, but not in graphite (or This is not the type of paper I would recommend.
I use markers a lot and vellum is something I can use quickly while at the same time not absorbing much ink. As anyone who has used a Sharpie on newsprint knows, the paper is very thirsty and it's very difficult to draw a line without the paper Additionally, it is nearly impossible to penetrate the other side of the paper with markers (in this case). Erasing it is great with a standard eraser, and if you really blow it, you can use an X-Acto blade to clean up the edge When you need to, use a knife or a razor blade. There's a beautiful white surface on this paper, as well as an easy way to prepare photos on it I use it primarily for ink and I think it is excellent in that regard. However, it also takes pencil well, but the lack of tooth means that you'll have to work slowly and probably use a softer pencil to really push the contrast.
Even though I'm barely learning the medium, I'm sure you'll be making stunning stuff with it if you already have experience. No matter what, this paper is amazing, came packaged neatly, and there are The project has everything I like and I can't wait to work on it more.
Several of my favorite artists use this paper to create hyper-realistic drawings, and my research indicates that it is the preferred choice for many of them. I went for it anyway, and I'm totally thrilled with the results. A paper like this is nothing like the rest it is truly extraordinary. I highly recommend this book.
Multimedia projects are a pleasure to work on with this paper! The reason I purchased it again was for the same reason (this is not the first time I purchased it). Although I have ordered it from Amazon before, I can't give it a 5 star review due to some of the pages being folded when it arrived. As a result, it is impossible to create a full-size piece of artwork on those pages. One dollar equals one pound. This is unacceptable to have 23 per sheet. My only issue with the product is that the shipping was too slow. I will purchase the product.
