I liked how this sketchbook has the spiral at the top, which is especially useful for left-handed people who don't want the spiral to get in the way while sketching. I would strongly suggest it. Now I have a central location for all of my son's sketches!.
White paper was required for art projects by my grandson, who is in seventh grade. This sketch pad impressed me because it has perforations that make each page look clean and not like it was ripped from a pad. He likes that the pages don't easily tear when handled and have held up well in use because the paper is of good quality with a good thickness and a good size. br>I'm very pleased with my purchase, both in terms of price and quality. With a few colored pencils and/or markers, this would make a great gift.
There were flakes of paper (possibly from the perforation) on the floor. The plastic wrapper was removed, and the contents scattered. Even after shaking the sketchbook to get rid of the particles, they continue to emit. That appears to be something that should have been considered during the manufacturing process. This isn't a problem with Five-Star notebooks, so it's a distinct possibility. Apart from that, it's 100% genuine paper
This was purchased as a gift for my grandson, but I have yet to give it to him. It's a good size, and the paper is good enough to draw on or use markers on. It's exactly what I was looking for.
This was a gift for my daughter, so I ordered it for her. She is enrolled in a school for the arts. For what she requires for class, this is ideal.
When I opened it, there were small paper bits all over the place, and the spiral was broken. When it arrived, the top corners were slightly bent. This isn't a flaw with the product, but it does indicate that the sketchbook isn't very durable. br>The paper quality isn't my favorite; the stock is soft and, in my opinion, won't hold up to heavy ink. Although I am not a fan of this type of paper, I can see it working well for charcoal or soft granite pieces. br>Overall, I gave it a 3/5 because it doesn't feel high quality, but the sketchbook is reasonably priced. However, I would not purchase it again.
Sketchpad of excellent quality.
