They are excellent for inks and markers. It can be used on any surface and is compact enough to fit anywhere. Pages can all be removed (except for a few in the middle which are glued in). The Crayola Artist Color Pencil is compatible with Copic markers, Japanese ink, pencils (both traditional and mek), Sharpie markers, Chinese ink, blood, spit, whatever you want to draw! These are made of Bristol so they will last a long time. * Will continue to purchase more when I need them. Five stars *br*br*.

It is not the right paper for you if you like the effect of texture in your watercolor paintings and you do a lot of wet-in-wet type of watercolor. This paper surprised me because I didn't know I had a preference until I used it. These watercolor papers have a smooth surface so you'll enjoy them when you watercolor. On the top of this pad is a watercolour background with doodles on top, which I passed on to a friend who does watercolor backgrounds.

In contrast, if you want to do precision work, and you have a 6" protractor like nearly everyone else, you'll find that all four circles of this paper are off. You are just on the edge of the edge, but add the tolerance on the protractor and you are well off. As for the rest, I use them quite a bit, and they are quite pretty. In that case, I take away one star. As such, I have been forced to reduce the points on.

The tiles are great, and if you do pen and ink drawings, including Zentangle, you will love them too. In order to do Zentangles, I usually cut them up into fours, so each tile measures 3 x 3 inches. Media from all around the world are accepted very well by the paper. It is very easy for me to use micron pens, markers, and water color pencils. My third order for these tiles has just been placed.
