I'm not sure, but it doesn't irritate me when I use it; that's a question for the manufacturer to answer.
I didn't get my scissors for a dollar; instead, I paid more. I discovered a pair of scissors that were sharp enough for her to use (3 1/2-inch). year- old) and with blunted points so she couldn't injure herself. I hope this information is useful.br>Alexander Alexander A. Alexander Alexander A. Alexander Alexander A. Alexander Alexander A. Alexander Alexander A. Alexander Alexander
That is correct. I had to investigate because it was something I had never noticed before. The scissors are in good working order, and the cover is rarely on them when the kids use them.

My son needed a new pair of left-handed scissors for school, and I needed them quickly. I ordered these after searching for left-handed scissors that could be delivered the next day. DO NOT purchase these if you require LEFT-HANDED scissors. These are NOT scissors for left-handed people. You can easily hold them in either hand (though this does not make them suitable for left-handed use), and the blade on the right will always be on top, regardless of how you hold the handle. The blade on top must be on the left if you are left-handed. We had to remove them from the package to learn this, so we were disappointed. I'll make a contribution to a school supply drive.
These scissors were purchased for a three-year-old who was just learning to cut. She quickly learned how to use the grip and was able to cut straight lines with them. They were sharp enough to cut construction paper well, and I liked the safety cover that I could use once I was done. They're well-designed for small hands' comfort. I used to teach kindergarten, and I approve of the scissors.
year- Older children's toys are far less dangerous than the pointed ones used by adults. By the time she was three years old, her plastic scissors were no longer cutting well enough for her skill level. We got her these because she was always playing with the adult scissors, which scared us, and they cut perfectly and fit her hand better, so she no longer takes chances with the big ones.
My 4-and-a-half-year-old daughter was the recipient of this purchase. It's fantastic that it comes in a three-pack of bright colors. She, of course, kept the pink pair. The red pair was chosen by my 6-year-old son. She also gave me the blue one, which I will keep for when they lose theirs. Oh! Not only are the covers useful, but they also come with an added bonus: They come with a sheet of small stickers that they can use to personalize their scissors!.
I bought these scissors to cut yarn with. Crocheting is one of my favorite pastimes. When I was summoned for jury duty, I knew that using my regular crochet scissors would be dangerous, so I wanted to be able to crochet while I waited. I haven't been summoned yet, so I'm not sure if they'll make it through the metal detector and safety inspection. When it comes to cutting yarn, they, on the other hand, perform admirably.
These were purchased for my 3-year-old grandson, who is learning to cut. He enjoys them and can successfully employ them. I dislike children's scissors that are so safe that cutting becomes difficult for them. We both appreciated the extra touch of being able to personalize the cases with the provided tiny stickers.
A complete pair of scissors has gone missing from a sealed package! I'm sure the scissors will do the job, but I needed to fill three school supply orders. I'll have to go out and buy a new pair of shoes. 😒.
These were purchased for a child who is nearly four years old. His new scissors, particularly the caps, are a big hit with him. When he's finished cutting, he makes sure they're on. Using his own scissors makes him feel very grown up and helpful.
