They're very good at cutting through cardboard. I'm not sure if they'd be able to cut through box springs. Isn't it true that wire cutters are required for this? The scissors are a little stiff, but I don't use them all that often - With proper care, it would most likely loosen up.

I've bought more expensive pairs thinking they'd be better, but these are just as nice and are less expensive.
Making masks with a larger pair of fabric scissors had worn out my hands. These are exactly what I was looking for, and I am very pleased with them. My hands are the perfect size and weight for this item. When I first got them, there appeared to be a small nick on one of the blades, but it faded quickly.
I needed a new pair of fabric scissors to replace the ones I'd been using for a long time. These scissors are fantastic and extremely sharp, which is exactly what I was looking for. I've never seen a pair quite like these (the blade merges with the shank, leaving only a small amount of plastic for the fingerholds), but they work and are comfortable to hold, so these will be my go-to pair.
