If you're having trouble cutting an inside circle, try piercing the material or paper with just one blade to begin the 'hole.'
I'm not sure what your hq stands for. Is it of high standard? They're a great pair of scissors for precision work. I would strongly suggest it.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. They're great for paper and have a razor-sharp edge. When I need to do a lot of cutting, I use Joyce Chen kitchen scissors: They might be able to help you with your work if you use 28 gauge copper or something similar.
Yes, the majority of the items are manufactured in China. I also discovered that the majority of the fresh garlic sold in the United States comes from China. Although less expensive, the quality is lower. And I live in California, where garlic is grown, just down the road. This is extremely upsetting. It's great to hear you're looking to purchase in the United States. Best of luck! Beth Foley lives in Salinas, California.

Let's get this out of the way right away: these aren't the same Fiskars as in previous years. The fact that these were made in China was obvious as soon as I took them out of the box. First and foremost, I noticed a distinct lack of quality when handling these, and when compared to my original pair, these simply do not compare. As you can see in the comparison photo, the Chinese pair has a cheap generic Phillips head center screw and no "USA" etched in the outer blade, unlike my original pair. Please, just inform us that we are purchasing a Chinese-made item, and perhaps some people will be less disappointed!.
br>br>OK for everyday craft use, but a poor shadow of the original Fiskars made in Finland. br>br>While this current model does "cut to the point," both of the pairs I received do not do so as accurately as the original Fiskars made in Finland. The points on these slightly overlap/overshoot - Chinese manufacturing at its worst - The tips are a little blunted, as well. (One pair has a slightly longer tip than the other. ) As a result, when using either pair, there is a small tear at the end of the cut. In addition, unlike the original, they only taper when viewed from the side (as shown in the product photo), but are the same thickness when viewed from the top (90 degrees from the photo view) up to within a few inches of the tips, before being coarsely ground off at two steep angles. The originals were smooth tapered in both planes, providing a precise tip for precise cuts and easy visibility of the cutting area. As a result, these new models are clumsy when cutting anything other than straight lines and aren't suitable for very short or curved cuts, making them unsuitable for applique or cutting intricate or precise paper shapes. Because the original scissors were ideal for these tasks, I've decided to keep them and use the new ones only for basic cutting. This is unsatisfactory; br>br> It's sad to see a brand with such high quality and utility go out of business.
I'm an embroiderer, and I bought these scissors to cut the small threads that the embroidery machine makes when switching between colors. Getting under the threads is difficult. I stopped using them because they were constantly causing snags. They are not something I would recommend. I bought them because of the brand, but while my larger Fiskars are excellent, these small ones are not.
These can't possibly be genuine Fikars 5 inch figures. For years, I had a pair that remained razor sharp. These aren't shiny and aren't made of stainless steel. Very let down. I don't write negative reviews very often and am not one of those whiners. This pair of scissors is completely useless.
These are ideal for threading and cutting small pieces of paper with precision. I can't help but think of them as if they were made 50 years ago. They had simply become monotonous - I did, however, put them to a lot of stress. The quality of the handles is the most noticeable difference on arrival. There's a significant difference between them when compared side by side. So it is with our era!.
To begin with, these scissors aren't particularly costly. Are they capable of cutting through the clutter? Yeah. Do they have a good cut? It all depends on the kind of cutting you're doing. Are you looking for a micro tip? Nope. One tip is squared, while the other is a little pointed. The length of one of the tips differs from the length of the other. They'd probably be fine for basic craft supplies, but I purchased these to tie flies. At the same time as I purchased these, I purchased another brand. The hackle on the other brand is cut very close to the thread, whereas these are not. As a result, a fly develops an unattractive head. I can't be too upset because I'm only out $7. I'm just glad I didn't buy more than one pair of shoes.
When my first pair of these broke after only a few months, I was very disappointed. However, I noticed that Amazon listed a lifetime warranty, so I contacted the company and was pleasantly surprised when they sent me a new pair with only photos of the broken one. This is the substance that supports the appearance of your product.
This is a small pair of scissors with a blade that is only 2 inches (5cm) long, but it cuts through anything a large pair of scissors can, and it feels much more manoeuvrable and controllable due to its size. And because it's so small, you can take it with you wherever you go. even in the tennis bag's pocket The eye-catching orange handle is a nice touch. enticing, and made of a supple polymer This scissors is notable for its smooth and gentle feel in the hand, as well as the fact that it works well for left-handed people. (As an ambidextrous person, I've used it with both hands. ).
