I'm not sure, but they're great for cutting paper, and they're razor-sharp! I frequently prefer them to my long-serving Gingher scissors.
They're good for cutting meat tissue, but they don't keep an edge as well as I'd like.
I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. They have a very fine tip and are extremely sharp. They're good at cutting fine details on paper, so I imagine they'd be good at trimming a beard as well.
Despite the fact that I don't have a beard or mustache, I've used them to trim my hair and they've worked perfectly. Very incisive. I haven't noticed any rust yet, but after rinsing the hair, I dry them with a towel.

I bought these scissors from Michaels a long time ago - I was head over heels in love with that couple. I needed another pair for my TV area, so I purchased these - My first pair was stamped Taiwan, and I use them for everything from clipping tapes and washi to fussy cutting because they don't stick and the blades are still razor sharp. This new set comes from China, and the blades aren't quite as delicate, and the tips are completely useless - They're just plain scissor blades, so don't believe them when they say they're non-stick. The handles are made of a harder plastic than the other handles, which are made of a softer material. I was completely let down.
I'm in love with these scissors. My second set because I ruined my first set while in college (my fault; the scissors are sturdy). When I get the chance to snip something, I get really excited. These are so good that if I had to, I'd use them on my hair. br>br>I'm left-handed, and these allow me to cut precisely without cramping my hand. It's ideal for paper crafts as well as everyday use.
"Fussy cutting" is something I do a lot of: putting together three D decoupage focals from multiple prints of the same pattern, which I cut into layers and glued together with thin double-sided tape. foam tape with two sides This means I'll need scissors that can make the fine details cuts I'll need to achieve the desired effects. br>br>These EK Success Cutter Bee scissors are ideal for the job. They're small enough to make fine detailed cuts while still fitting comfortably in my hand. They're also well-balanced, making control a breeze. Definitely a good investment - br>br> I bought a second pair to have on hand in case I need them.
This is a one-star review for me. I gave it a five-star rating because I understand that not everyone reads every review, but they do want to see the negative ones. These are nice, sharp scissors, and I was hoping to fall in love with them. Their points, however, did not meet; instead, they crossed- in contrast to the image above Based on the positive feedback they've received, I'm willing to believe this isn't the norm. Although they were not Amazon Prime returns, the seller promptly refunded my funds, which I greatly appreciate. If the precision of the points isn't important to you, they'll serve you well, and yours may even arrive with excellent points.
If you're a paper crafter, these are the best. When my niece and I were playing and making Christmas tags (she's 30), she was enthralled by the sharp and non-traditional designs. scissors should be used It really helps when you're cutting paper or paper with adhesive/glue dots/foam backing, and so on. I have the Tim Holtz soft grip, as well as several other nice pairs of scissors, but these are the best for fussy cutting, stickiness, and all the other reasons you would pay more for a truly excellent tool. Mine number in the tens (if not the twenties). more? They're still one of my favorites after all these years.
This pair of scissors was purchased in preparation for international travel. Throughout my trip, I required it for a variety of purposes. I had no trouble fitting it into my carryon because it complied with TSA requirements for scissors (blade guard and 4" at pivot point). It flew through security and out the door. When I got home, I put it in my checked bag.
I purchased these scissors because I enjoy making paper banners for birthdays and holidays and could not afford a Cricut. So I was cutting that s*** out by hand, and I needed something that was easier to maneuver inside around curves than an Exacto knife, so I could get more refined detail on letters and stuff. AND BOY DO THESE GET THE JOB DONE! They are fantastic! They're small and razor-sharp, so the fact that they come with a small sheath on the blade is extremely convenient, especially for travel. I can cut the holes in a B without butchering the paper because they have a good point and edge. I now have a Cricut, but setting it up and using it for the afternoon takes time, so having these for quick cutting is convenient. Furthermore, if your house is ever broken into, these are all you will require. They have SHARP edges.
Sewing and crafting (card-making, junk journaling, scrapbooking). I've tried a lot of small scissors, including some that were more expensive and were named after celebrities. I needed a pair of small scissors for "fussy cutting. " Detailed images (such as flowers with leaves and stems) are cut out. I'm happy to report that I'm a big fan of the Cutter Bee ones! They're razor-sharp and have a great, pointed tip. br>br> They're sturdy, and when I've used them for things like Washi Tap, I've had no problems with them collecting sticky residue. The size of the finger/thumb holes is my only "complaint. " They could be a little bigger for a better grip. Because my husband's fingers don't fit into the handle holes, he can't use these scissors well. br>br>**This is actually a good thing if you're looking for a deterrent from your larger-than-life enemies. *
br>The scissors are long enough to cut lengths without requiring a zillion snips, but compact enough that they are great for that fussy cutting work. Strong but not too heavy; Sharp, with a good pivot. It also includes a bonus cover to emphasize the point. These scissors come highly recommended by me to all crafters, but especially to those who do fine or detailed paper cutting.
