BIHRTC Gold Vintage Plum Blossom Scissors and Classic Crane Design Sewing Scissors for Embroidery, Sewing, Craft, Art Work & Everyday Use

I was so excited to get these, and I was hoping to fall in love with them. But . 'As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. ' What you pay for is what you get. br>These scissors are a poor imitation of the original Gingher Crane scissors. The blades are long, but have varying thicknesses and are slightly bowed; they are NOT a sharp point, as stated on the listing and on the actual packaging. The blades are DULL and are now shredding my ribbon after only ONE WEEK of use cutting embroidery floss and tiny silk ribbin. The floral scissors have much nicer blades, though they are shorter and have a sharper point. However, the decorative flowers on the handles are jagged and uncomfortable. For such small scissors, the finger holes are incredibly large. My fingers are fairly large, and when I'm cutting, they slide right up to my knuckles. I had to slide them down to get a better grip, so I had to slide them back down.

Save your money and wait for a 50% off coupon from your local craft store and buy original Gingher scissors there. Even the dollar store's teeny-tiny mustache scissors are better:.

That's all I've got to say on the subject. Very nice, and it appears to be of good quality. until. You're going to cut some thread. They are simply insufficiently sharp. br>br>If I pull my thread super tight and get the scissors at the right angle, I can get a clean cut. br>br>Purchase these for show and save money on a better pair.

They were the ideal tools for cutting out intricate embroidery appliqué from the backing sheet when used together. The sharp point ones are ideal for fine details, while the bird ones are more comfortable to use for longer periods on less detailed sections.

I always have a pair in my purse and wear them all the time because they are light and have smooth mechanics. V. br>br>V. br>br>V. br>br>V. Y sharp. With these little guys, I've dropped them and knocked myself out, as well as fallen and stuck straight into whatever they land on (a solid wood deck). When not in use, I recommend purchasing tip covers to prevent them from slicing.

I was looking for a small pair of scissors to cut my yarn and thread with, and these were perfect! They perform admirably and are razor-sharp! With so many masks on, I used up my little snip scissors and had to saw through the thread to finish what I was doing. These are very vintage in appearance - They remind me of the snippers that my grandmother used to carry around with her. So far, they've held up admirably and remain razor-sharp!.

These tiny craft scissors are fantastic. They perform admirably. I have other craft scissors that work well with yarn, but these small craft scissors are far superior to the others I own, cutting through my thick cotton macrame cord with ease. I highly recommend these scissors, and you get two for the price of one. These are something I'd buy again. They are fantastic.

You'd swear these came straight from a thrift store, y'all. They're fantastic! They've got a lot of bite to them. They are smaller; I have small hands, so it isn't an issue for me; however, if you have larger hands, it may be. When I showed them to my mother, she was envious.
