It's a charging station with a battery that can be recharged. The controller is not included.
I'm not sure about the warranty, but these are available from the Microsoft Store. If they were a bad product, I seriously doubt MS would sell them.
One supply drop is given to you.
The controller itself is compatible with the included regular batteries as well as the play and charge packs. The play and charge packs, on the other hand, will not charge on the base because their charging ports are identical.

So long as the battery is charged, this will work. It, too, will eventually fail, just like any other battery. However, the issue with this entire setup is that these guys do not sell their special battery pack with exposed metal connectors separately. I contacted their customer service, wrote to their Twitter account, and was completely ignored on all fronts. So now I have a $50 controller stand, but I'm going to stick to the official Microsoft play and charge kit. Or any other business that is willing to stand behind their products.
You are unable to purchase replacement batteries from this company. As a result, if it dies after a year of use, you'll have to buy the entire kit all over again. What a colossal waste!.
As the holidays approach and I have more time to spend at home due to the cold weather, I had another opportunity to dust off the old Xbox. I've had an X1 since it was released in 2013 or so. The tv stand had become a shambles as a result of the kids' antics in the basement, so I decided to order some new gear and settle in for some gaming time. I ordered some wireless controller docks, but only the Xbox authorized branded ones because I didn't want to deal with junk. It turns out that this isn't the case right now. The abyss black dock appeared to be reasonably priced and appeared to be in good condition upon arrival. However, after installing the battery pack and attempting to charge it, I noticed that the small light at the base was not indicating anything, which piqued my interest. After some investigation, it was discovered that when the cover that goes over the battery pack that came with the base is installed, the three little spring loaded contacts in the base do not make proper contact with the battery pack. When the battery is removed, everything works fine, and the light indicates whether the battery is charged (it's either red or green). This is not an issue I would expect to deal with in an authorized Xbox provider. Either the wrong plastic cover was supplied, manufactured tolerances have slipped, or simply a shotty design is to blame. So cool idea, nice dock, but it doesn't charge properly as expected, so it'll need to be modified = *.
I tried a battery from a previously purchased stand, and the new base would charge it, so the issue was with the battery that came with this stand, which I returned because they do not sell replacement batteries for it.
It has a very nice, ergonomic feel to it, and it will fit your Xbox One controller perfectly. I've had no issues with the charging itself; it picks up and starts charging right away.
- Looks, feels, and performs like a premium product. design.
- It's comfortable, heavy, and has a non-slip rubber base.
- The set includes a power cord, a battery pack, and a dark gray case. The CP2077 Limited Ed. comes with a red battery plate cover. Although it was designed for the Xbox One controller, it will work with any Xbox One controller.
- The controller is perfectly balanced on the charging stand and will not fall off.
- Right away, he starts charging.
- When the controller is charging, the orange LED indicator light turns white, indicating that it is fully charged. The battery pack itself is the only thing that worries me: br>br> When I first received it, I charged it by plugging it into the controller. There's an orange LED light that turns white when the battery is fully charged. I unplugged the controller from the charger as soon as it turned white and waited an hour. Then, just to be sure, put it back on the charger to see if it was still recognized as fully charged. It wasn't/seemed to have lost about 20 minutes of charge just by being taken off the stand and never turned on again. br>br>This means that: 1) the charging stand will not recognize a full charge right away; or 2) the charging stand will not recognize a full charge right away. or 2) the battery pack's capacity is rapidly depleted. With that said, I haven't tested how long the battery will last on a full charge while gaming, but I will update my review once I do. br>br>Highly recommended (so far), 4. a score of eight out of five br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I wanted to give this review a quick update and raise my rating to a 4 out of 5 stars. 8/5. 0 because the battery pack lasts a MINIMUM of 8 hours; while I do occasionally leave it on the charging stand and keep it fully charged, I've gamed on this thing for 8 hours in a single session and it hasn't seemed to die. That said, the controller, like all wireless controllers I've used, occasionally loses connection and requires a power cycle. However, it's possible that the issue is with Windows 10 Bluetooth rather than the controller. Fantastic controller. br>br>.
This is an excellent charger. With the Gears 5 Controller, it has a very nice appearance. The controller will not fall out of the base because it is well-balanced. It has a rubberized bottom that prevents it from sliding around. It also includes a code for a Gears 5 supply drop. The battery life outlasts the charging time. Microsoft produces a game kit. For my other controllers, I would purchase this product again.
It not only charges your controller, but it also displays it in all of its glow-in-the-dark glory. br>br>Although the cool unicorn narwhal battery cover has been reproduced, I'd recommend keeping the old one in your original box in case you want to go back to it. br>br>To get started, simply remove the battery cover, remove the batteries, insert the rechargable battery pack, replace the cover, and charge until the battery pack is fully charged. br>br>Even if you don't have the Sea of Thieves controller, displaying your pirate pride will look great on anyone. br>br>bemorepirate.
The color scheme and feel are similar to those of the Kait controller, which I like. This is a must-have for me as a huge Gears of War fan; it's nice to have a stand to make the controller look nice, and it's always charged!.
