The plate will need to be inserted into your controller after some trial and error. During ordering, both plates were black, and the stand was black as well. There is no wall outlet to USB adapter included with it, so I used an old iphone adapter I had laying around.

It comes with a micro USB charging cord, but no wall outlet to USB cable. Since I have only used it for a short time, I cannot speak to the battery's longevity and whether or not it needs to be replaced in the near future. Approximately 24 to 26 dollars, I would say If you plan on putting your controller back on the dock after every use, 30 hours is not bad. For anyone who plays games regularly and gets frustrated by swapping batteries, this product is a great choice.

You need to charge the batteries if you want to use It seems my light will not come on after placing it on this thing for quite some time. It is clean, I am familiar with the design because I have owned the Xbox One version for years, so I know the charging station is pushed down, and still there is no reaction. It's a miracle if I can ever get one to recharge, but I've gotten each to fully charge. I've never had this problem on the older versions of the charger (I have both a single and a dual charger from this brand), so I'm not sure what's going on. I probably would consider a replacement as part of the return, but I have seen just a handful of other customer reviews with the same issue, and Amazon won't have stock again for at least Let's see what else I can do with myself.

In the good news section, I can now charge my Xbox Series S controller while also charging my Xbox One controller, but in the bad news section, you need to unplug your headset before it charges. I didn't have this problem with my last dual charger.
