Questions & Answers
This is, indeed, an Xbox One power supply. It is intended to be a replacement for the original. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
How loud? There's no sound. Nothing to do with fans or anything like that. It's not something I've ever heard before.
Orange flashing, solid red, or no light at all: It's possible that you'll have to replace your power supply. Change the outlet where your console's power supply is plugged in. A surge protector should not be used. Unplug the power supply and wait 30 minutes if the light is solid red or flashing orange. I'd send it back and get a new one because the one you got could be defective.
I didn't notice any signs of overheating. I've been using yccsky products for a long time and have always found them to be of good quality. And then there's the aftermath. The service provided by the sales department is excellent.

My Xbox wouldn't turn on, and this solved the problem.
So far, everything has gone well. We use it on a daily basis for gaming and watching movies, and it has saved me from having to purchase a new Xbox 1. I also told a friend about it.
We ruled out the power brick as the cause of the Xbox's shutdown, so we purchased a new one (this one), which worked perfectly.
I bought one of these from Game Stop about a year ago, refurbished. A MAJOR MISTAKE! They wouldn't let me return it because it was very loud. Not to mention the fact that it cost me $60. When that piece of garbage died, I replaced it with this one, which is far superior. It's quiet and it works flawlessly; there are no issues at all. And it's a lot less expensive!.
The power supply in my original XBOX One was failing on a semi-regular basis. I decided to replace it with this unit because I use it on a regular basis. When I first heard it, I was taken aback by how loud it was in comparison to the original. Even when the XBOX is turned off, the internal fan continues to run. When the XBOX is turned on, it gets a little louder. It's loud enough to be heard over my refrigerator, which is running in the kitchen next door. It works, but I'm returning it in the hopes of finding a replacement that is quieter (and, ideally, does not make any noise when the XBOX is turned off). *Edit - br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b I've decided to cancel my return request because I received a replacement unit that was even louder than this one. I'm guessing this is a problem with all third-party replacements. By moving the brick inside my cabinet, I was able to alleviate the problem to some extent. Microsoft no longer produces OEM replacement parts, which is a shame. br>To document the sound, I've attached a video. Don't pay attention to the cracking noises. That's me sauntering across the carpet. Please keep in mind that the XBOX is turned off in the video.
One day- a typical day with clear skies, birds chirping, and a general sense of well-being in the air- Our Xbox One was unable to power up. I kept pressing the power button, perplexed. Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap br>br>I tried a different finger, thinking my original one was broken. Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap It just wouldn't turn on. br>br> So, like any sane IT professional, I unplugged it and walked away. You see, capacitors are used in many applications. It all comes down to capacitors. I could plug it back in and it would work once they had lost their stored charge. br>br>It was at this point that I noticed the power brick's LED light. When I unplugged it (Standby Mode), it was orange, but the LED went out when I plugged it back in. Not good. br>br>For the sake of tradition, I tapped the power button once more. br>br>At this point, I went to Amazon and ordered a third-party power brick (thank you, Microsoft, for no longer producing these). br>br>I plugged it in when it arrived, and all I had to do was make sure the power LED changed from orange to green. The XBox was up and running without a hitch. br>br>I've read that some people complain about how noisy this power brick is, but mine is completely silent and works flawlessly. So, if you're looking to extend the life of your XBox and the power brick is exhibiting the symptoms listed above, I think this is worth a try. Best wishes to you.
My Xbox One and this power supply get along swimmingly. Unless I'm right next to it, I can't hear the fan. Which I am never! It's exactly what you're looking for if you're in the market for a new one.
