It turns out that the problem is with the battery pack's contacts. Replaced the battery and it now works flawlessly; the price was well worth it. So, before you go out and buy a new controller, give this a shot!.

Battery cases that are good

For this price, I like that four battery cases are included; they're well-made and fit my XBox 360 controller perfectly. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do fit a little snugly in the controller, but this isn't a problem.

I like how easily they fit into the controller, as well as the batteries. You simply need to purchase rechargeable batteries and a charger to have batteries ready to use, which will increase the cost, but it is preferable to purchasing rechargeable battery packs, which are unreliable.

The fit is snug and perfect

It's perfect because they're all the same. The finish is pleasant to the touch, but more importantly, it is well-fitting.
It's such a good fit that I chipped my controller testing them out, 100% my fault since I never used these AA type packs before; 100% my fault because I To get them in there, you'll have to really press down. Much better than other rechargeable packs with built-in batteries, which eventually die and aren't as secure.

Most Xbox controllers will work with it. If the old one is broken or lost, you'll need these cheap little plastic items, which are overpriced but necessary for the controller's operation.
