It was very corroded on the wires connecting the cymbal to it. I found a YouTube video that showed how to replace the cheap, thin wire with a superior cord that would last longer. This is the wire they used in the video, and I ordered it hoping it would work. Installing the phone went exactly as they described in the video and it was relatively straightforward. It is my pleasure to inform you that the cymbal works flawlessly now, and we can drum to our hearts' content again. It was only one of the cymbals that wasn't working, but we replaced both of them anyway to make sure that there won't be problems My heartfelt recommendation goes out to this product.
Thank you! To switch out both my cords for the drums was quite a hassle, but now it works again and I'm ready to play guitar hero on the drums. A pair of guitar hero uks might work? I was just thinking about buying one. I think they took my money or something like that. For the past few days I have emailed and messaged them repeatedly requesting my refund, but nothing happened. There was a lot of anger in me (still is). Thank you for posting this. I'm glad I came across it.
The internet is full of stories about this problem, so you can read about all the problems there are. There is generally a two-camp split among the proposed solutions. 1) Get out your soldering gun and prepare to make some repairs to your home. In either case, I did not like the alternatives, as I was not willing to spend money on either a new drum set or a soldering gun (nor have I any electrical It seemed cheap enough to give it a go even though I was not sure it would work. It would be great if it could fix the problem. I realized that swapping out the cord wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. The purpose of this isn't to plug in There is no straightforward way to replace the cord, as it requires taking apart the entire drum set, mucking around with the circuit boards, and a lot of time. Since there are no instructions, the best you can do is follow where the new cord is supposed to be placed. The first time I tried to attach it, I bent the wires and was afraid that I might have broken everything. I was still able to fix the drum set without any skills, because I managed to attach the new cord. Which of these are you familiar with? I have worked on the orange cymbal again. It was a shock but a happy shock. There is neither an easy nor a quick fix. Buying a new drum set is cheaper, but not as exciting!.
It was an easy fix for a VERY reasonable price. The manufacturer was incredibly uncooperative when we called them It was helpful. There was nothing they could do to fix the cymbal and they told us we had to buy a We were either speaking with someone who didn't know what they were talking about, or they just wanted to push us into buying. Our team looked on Amazon and found a replacement cable in a matter of I was very pleased with how quickly it arrived and how easy it was to put in! I'm in love, and I'm so glad we found what we were looking for for a fraction of the price of a new drum set! Those of you who have run into the same issue as we did should give this a shot.
So I decided to give the repair kit a try and I am very After unscrewing all the screws and removing and replacing the wires it takes about 1 minute to complete the task. There are no directions, but I have no trouble figuring it out even though it takes 5 hours. The wire plug had to be removed very carefully so as not to put too much pressure on the mother board. Otherwise, it worked great. Now that they are back drumming like Tommy Lee, I have electrical taped down the wires with a minimal amount of slack to keep him from tearing them It's hard to go wrong with this before you spend more than a $100 on a.
I received a kit that included a tool to facilitate the process of changing For the replacement of the wires, it is necessary to remove the entire back (bottom) of the drum set. It is necessary to route the wires through the cymbal pillars, but after the wires are routed through the tubes it is simply a matter of plugging the two wires into an outlet and mounting the back. Once they were cleaned, they worked like new we were pleased to find them, as drum sets and parts are becoming more and more difficult to find. This cable is doing a great job, and I'm sure we will be able to use it for many years.
I would rather-, A quality that is true to the original This is an easy installation. I use this all the time. Note that the original cables (cymbal and kick pedal) were trash, and literally disintegrated over time. These are great. I am glad I found them.
During the course of using my Guitar Hero drum set, I wore out the cables. Nearly all of the rubber coating on the wires had melted. My set has been brought back to life with these cables. In most cases, it just needs to be plugged in and played. It's a piece of cake.
