My method works great and I use it every time!
From what I can tell, it will work with anything that uses the GameCube's plug-in. If you plug it into the GameCube ports on the Wii, it should also work on the Wii.

A total of 6 feet of cable is provided by the pair. However, they don't get rid of the extra slack I need for my Gamecube controller, and the product name is confusing.
It works as advertised. I haven't encountered any issues using the controller with an extension cable, and it seems decently made. You will notice that the first time you connect the controller to the cable, it's a snug fit, and there is a snapping In most cases, inserting and removing the connector is easier after your first time. In fact, it's just like the connector gets busted in more than loose.
The product is excellent. I received two 6' extension cables for my new Gamecube. I am happy with the purchase. Despite the loss of metroid prime, it may still I took the risk and ordered them anyway, happy I did. Other reviews said the cables were short, but I took the risk and ordered them anyways.
Tested with GameCube, Wii, and Switch adapters, and it works great. To make game console controllers (for Original GameCube controllers) a total of 12 feet long, the extension length of 6 feet fits nicely. I could definitely convince someone that these are some kind of new and unheard-of genuine Nintendo products if I wanted to. The quality and finish both look and feel like factory Nintendo components, so it looks like they are some kind of new and unheard-of genuine Nintendo products. I note that If you open these extension cables for the first time, you will have some difficulty plugging in a controller since the female connector on these cables is tough. The first time you plug the extension cable into the controller, the ports won't line up smoothly. In the future they will line up.
The review claims that they were sent two cables that added up to 6ft. Despite my skepticism, I decided to take that chance anyway, and it proved to be a pleasant experience. There were two identical cables sent to me, each 6 feet long. I really like the way these cables are made and connect to my controller and system with a snap. As well, I tested them using the GameBoy Advance to GameCube connector cable on both consoles, and they both worked perfectly, allowing you to use your GBA or GBA SP from an additional distance with your GameBoy Player.
I am satisfied with the cable itself, about what I expected. However, I have a problem with it. Originally, I intended to use the Gamecube controller and GBA together - this didn't work out - but I ordered the two-pack bundle now. Link cable allowing the GameCube to connect to Despite this, only one cable was detected by my Wii, and the other was not even detected by the device. also tested it on a GameCube system, and I didn't get any luck. This is a very disappointing result, as only one works. It's a good cable, but be careful when ordering the dual pack, or just order It is possible that the unit will be defective.
I love how it works. It was so short that I had to sit right in front of the TV to use the GameCube controller Thanks to this cable, I can sit comfortable and far away from the screen in my living room. There seem to be no problems with the connection. I appreciate the fact that there are two so that one can be replaced should one freak Since I play solo on the GameCube, that works out fantastic for me.
