There is a catch, however. In any case, my stand was returned to me, and it appears to have been sent twice. The shifter had scratches on it (pictured) and light rust around the edges where the stand connected to the shifter No scratches or defects were apparent once the unit was assembled as most of them were in places difficult to see, such as the underside of the foot pedal stand. Furthermore, the plastic cap that plugs into the unused shifter end did not arrive with the order. It would have been nice if they had included more washers so that both nuts and bolts could be fitted with There are no indications where you can use washers in the instructions, so you must make assumptions about how they are to be used. In addition, I believe the washers used for mounting the pedals should be larger, like fender washers, to spread the load over a larger surface area of the foot pedal stand. Overall I am pleased with my purchase, but for something that costs this much I would expect better quality. As well, it is too heavy to put it back together and send it back for a return or exchange. It may not be to your taste if you are picky, but if you don't care for picky things, you will like this stand.
A few weekends ago, I bought a GT omega for myself. When my kids requested one, I figured a cheaper one would suffice since they weren't quite as big as me. Unfortunately, this was only a few bucks cheaper but its quality suffered as a result. Upon holding it over the top, you can see it is off by well over an inch from where it should fit in the bottom where the wheel mounts are located. It had to be put in with a bow out of the bottom because it was significantly wider. It was so hard to get in that I ended up using a mallet even with WD40 as even I couldn't get it in with my body weight, and I weigh 210 lb. Despite its construction, the brackets bolt down so that there is no support not even the welds holding the thick metal together. There will be no bracing. A noticeable amount of sway is experienced in both directions. How well does it work? Yes, I'd say that. What do you think of it? It might be OK if you were currently using an old plastic table or makeshift PVC While I realize that costs are rising, I would rather spend a few dollars more on GT Omega or a smaller brand of a higher quality.
It is really hard for me to leave a bad rating, but I have to do so in this case. To get my hands on it and try it out, I was super excited. The problem with my box began as soon as I opened it. I think they really need better instructions, these are just pictures, there are no words. They also mention, in the middle of the instructions, that you need x bolt, but I have no idea which one it is. They also include washers, but nowhere do they mention how to install them. As a result of its bent condition, the pedal base, where the pedals rest, is extremely flimsy and unreliable. It is difficult to insert the bolts all the way into the unit properly, due to the bent base. Despite the bolt system being secure, it is not safe. Bolts were positioned correctly, and they were tight enough when used for the first few times. However, after using it a few times, everything needed to be repositioned and tightened again because the bolts didn't stay in place. It's also not very stable, since you will constantly see the frame bounce and slide around, as you try to steer it or do anything else. Since it doesn't keep still at all, playing games becomes difficult since you have to manage the movement when driving, which is quite difficult when using a force feedback wheel. It makes the challenge even worse when using a steering wheel with force feedback. This is something I wish I hadn't bought, and I would return it if I could. That's a very disappointing result for me.
My son was super excited to learn how to use his set upon receiving it, but the stand is missing a part that is necessary for it to operate. It is a real disappointment. I would like a plate sent to me, or I will return the stand. The price at which the wares are sold.
I have tightened the whole thing, but there is still a gap. There are extra parts I need to weld on it to get it to The dangle does not line up with the G29 other than one or two holes. Because I nearly broke my G29 fasteners trying to make them fit around the plate, the fasteners are not large enough to fit around the plate. It is not possible to line up the pedal holes. Stay on the lookout.
I'm more of an arcade racer, not too much into the full-track stuff. You can play the Sims on your computer. A g920 pedal and wheel set is what I have. contains nearly everything you need to mount your steering wheel and pedals and even has a mount for your shifter. It is possibly the only downside of this wheel mount that it is not 100% solid, but overall, it is sturdy. The car sways left to right a little bit, but not too much. I quickly got used to it. There is only one other thing to note, however, and that When racing, people who are tall may find that their knees rest against that wheel arm, which can be uncomfortable after a while. Due to my height, I often have to take breaks. Considering the price, this is a good deal. You should, however, explore your other options if you are a serious sim racer.
There are some errors in the instruction, but the diagram is fairly straightforward, and the base had already been assemble when I got there. Here are a few of my photos, no need to overcomplicate you can use shorter allen socket bolts on thicker frames and longer allen socket bolts on thin frames. It's important to note that there are smaller diameter M6 button head bolts used for mounting the In the steering wheel, I used 2 but used 4 for the pedals. The only hardware I needed were two washers (mounting pedals) and I did not need anything else. As far as I am concerned, I really like this stand and it meets my needs perfectly. I would buy it again because it is a great value. Despite the fact that I am not a professional, it worked perfectly with my Logitech G29 keyboard. In addition to that, it came with hook-and-loop straps to manage the wires, which I thought As a result, the wires remained secured to the stand and moving it was a breeze since the cables did not drag or dangle. There were a few concerns I wasn't too concerned about though. If you tighten the nuts too much, the square posts will bend. It seems that the metal in the stand is soft, but so far it has remained sturdy. There is some movement in the stand when you shake it, but it is not discernible.
