Thrustmaster F599XX EVO 30 Wheel Alcantara Edition Add-On (PS5, PS4, XBOX Series X/S, One, PC)

Working kept me busy, and I was also helping to raise four children, so I spent a lot of time supporting my family. When I had the opportunity, I would play games, but not for long periods of time. Fast forward a few years, and I purchased an Xbox 360 and started playing a few games, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I recently purchased an Xbox One S because I enjoy/need better graphics now that I'm 65 and have older eyes. I enjoy racing car games, so I added a steering wheel to improve my control and enjoyment of racing cars in Forza 6. br>br>The Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider Racing Wheel was my first steering wheel. It lacks force feedback and instead relies on a bungee system to provide minimal resistance when turning the wheel from left to right. While I enjoyed using it, I desired more control in a steering wheel. You can choose settings to increase or decrease that can make a significant difference in the realism of driving cars in various racing games. I read a lot of reviews on the steering wheel and found it to be very popular. I liked the larger wheel diameter, which feels better in my hands than the Thrustmaster 458 Racing Wheel's smaller steering wheel. br>br>With one touch, all of the buttons on the wheel work extremely well with positive inputs. The d- The pad has a nice stiffness to it, so you know it'll work if you use it as needed. Every single time!! The paddles have a pleasant click to them and provide positive feedback. I was concerned that the larger wheel diameter would make it difficult to use the paddles, but this was not the case for me. If you don't have any pedals or a shifter, you can use the wheel to perform those functions (depending on the game). The material used to cover the wheel feels soft and allows you to easily slide your hands around the wheel in turns, etc. My hands don't get tired when I use it, but I do pay attention to anything that has to do with comfort because I have physical disabilities that make me more aware. It's simple to put the wheel on. Simply line up the arrows (one on the wheel and one on the base) or look at the backside of the wheel where it connects to the base to see the small connector that can only connect to the base in one direction. You place the wheel on the base after aligning them. To prevent it from moving, tighten the locking ring and secure it with the provided screw. If you're in the market for a new steering wheel, this is the one to go with. Don't be concerned about the quality of the construction or whether or not the wheel is functional. it is! I like this wheel and would recommend it to anyone who needs or wants a new one. They put a lot of effort into designing and building this wheel, which is why I gave it five stars. Wires can be seen dangling in the photo, but I've since fixed them.

I've always felt like something was missing, and after two years, I've finally found it! This is a must-have if you want to have a true simulation experience. My biggest complaint with my original ThustMaster wheel was that it FELT LIKE A TOY, and the small size, combined with the cheap plastic feel, took me out of the experience. In stressful situations, my hands would constantly collide, and I'd frequently knock my finger off the paddle shifters, causing me to notice how small and unrealistic the steering wheel was. br>br>I was always hesitant about the price, but now that I've had a chance to use it, it's well worth it; it brings 10 times the joy that my old one did, and the ALCANTARA feels AMAZING and makes all the difference when it comes to putting you in the driver's seat. I used to feel like I was driving a toy car, but now that I'm using the 599XX wheel, I feel like I'm driving a real car, which makes for a much better simulation experience. The buttons are also more satisfying to press because they have a "softer" feel to them, and gripping the wheel feels as if it molds to your hand; it's truly unique. I can only imagine how the 599XX wheel feels in real life.

It's all about the bigger rim. Long sessions no longer cause pain in my hands. My online friends claim that the new rim has made me faster. Everything about it is fantastic; you will not be disappointed with your purchase! The overall feel of the steering wheel has improved dramatically. If you're worried about the wheel wearing out, get a pair of motocross gloves and it'll be a no-brainer. issue.

If you've got a Thrustmaster wheel, you'll want to get this. It is, without a doubt, the best complete racing wheel available. In person, it feels exactly like my suede-wrapped wheel; it's a little smaller, but it's ideal for racing. The buttons aren't labeled, so they'll take some getting used to, but they're fine, and the paddle shifters are fantastic and made of metal. This thing is a total ripper.

Feels great with a slight reduction in Force Feedback when compared to the original. stock. My Thrustmaster TX One 458 Italia stock wheel felt fantastic, and the force feedback was fantastic. br>I purchased this wheel to replace my old 458 wheel, which was far too small. br>It looks great, but don't expect to be able to feel the road as well as you did with the stock 458 wheel. br>I'm torn between returning it and keeping it. EDIT - br>br> Now I'm giving you five stars! My FF magically activated today, and the wheel feels fantastic. Weird it felt like it felt like it felt like it felt like it felt like it felt like it felt like 25% FF the first 3 day In terms of FF and road feel, it now feels very similar to the stock wheel. If you don't have a FF when installing this wheel, you'll need to reset everything.

This wheel is fantastic; it is of excellent quality, and the buttons are particularly useful in race tuning (I. e. MGU settings, brake balance, and so on). Another benefit of the wheel that I don't see people mentioning is the FFB response. Due to the way the wheel is built with the alcantera, it performs exceptionally well in terms of FFB. My Friend had the leather version of this, and at 80% FFB on a Thrustmaster TX, it felt the same as this wheel did 60%. The only two neutrals are attempting to MANUALLY recenter the wheel (there is an online guide, but it's a bit cryptic to find and read), and the alcantera material can rub off, leaving a dark black "gritty fuzz" that can stain. I was able to resolve the second of these two issues by donning some $15 Lowe's "racing gloves. " br>br>Overall, if you have the funds, this will vastly improve any Thrustmaster wheel.
