I haven't been able to get my hands on a PS5, but I did pick up an extra controller that I'm sure I'll need. Needless to say, I'm going to buy another one for the system's controller.
The texture is incredible and the fit is flawless. Another reviewer (with pictures) mentioned that it didn't fit and was too small. You must first remove the existing faceplate, which I believe she did not do. The top two "tabs" must also be slid under the controller shell, and everything will fit perfectly. br>br>*edit* It appears that the negative review has been removed. I'm hoping she figured it out.
Keep in mind that if you want to change the buttons and triggers on your controller, you'll have to disassemble it completely. Reassembling the adaptive triggers should also be done with caution. You won't be able to load a single game if one of the components on either trigger is misplaced. And you'll have to disassemble everything all over again. I'm happy with my purchase in general. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative There are some black pieces that snap into the L2's interior. Extremerate also sells R2 triggers, but the molding isn't quite right, so I recommend removing the stock one from your original L2/R2 triggers. You'll be given a small blue prying tool that you can use to forcefully pull it out. Best of luck!.
The product itself is attractive, but the mold used to make it is positioned incorrectly in relation to the controller's built-in microphone. The plate puts pressure on the microphone, making it act as if it's always on. To fix this, I had to use a dremel to enlarge the opening.
Overall, it was a simple transaction. It was simple to take apart and reassemble, the price was reasonable, and it included the necessary tool. Notes: br>br> This cover plate adds a slight bump where the OEM cover was, effectively filling in the gap / dip between the white and black on Sony's screen. This isn't a flaw, but it does add to the controller's comfort (see photo 2). Advantages: br>br>

- There were no instructions included (I had to look up how to remove the OEM cover plate on YouTube)br>- It's a little scary to install, but it's doable in the end.
The PS5 controller's trim shell is the simplest mod to date. Instead of using the tool that came with it, I found it easier to pry up the ends of the original black shell with my fingernail, but I did use the tool to lift the rest of the shell off. The new one is a perfect fit, the color is exactly as described, and the finish is smooth and glossy. br>br>In addition, I modded all of the same company's buttons and triggers. I followed a very clear YouTube tutorial to complete all of the mods, and I recommend that newbies do the same. After reassembly, the controller works flawlessly, and I couldn't be happier!.
It's useful to be able to distinguish between various controllers. I've never had two controllers of the same color in any of the last four console generations. Because no other controllers have been released by Sony, I was forced to purchase a second white controller. When I was looking for controller skins, I came across these. The wood grain adds a touch of class to the controller, and the material appears to be of higher quality than the original trim piece. The only way to know for sure is to wait and see. br>br>If I ever need a third controller, I'll definitely buy more, and I might even replace them all. When compared to the wood grain, the original trim piece is hideous. Hopefully, they'll add more wood colors in the future. A deep cherry red wood grain trim piece and/or a weathered gray wood grain trim piece would look fantastic.
This is the controller for you if you want to add a personal touch to your PS5.
