Questions & Answers

Is this a game that kids (10 years old) would enjoy?

Walter. No, it is not, in my opinion. The game has a dark tone to it, similar to Batman-style games. Most people would say yes, but as the mother of two young daughters under the age of ten, I never did. The second infamous has superior gameplay and graphics, but it also contains mutant people and mutant creatures such as giant insects. I'm an adult, and it made me a little uncomfortable. I hope this information is useful to you.

Is there a Spanish version of the game?

Of course

Is there a standard US rating and cover art included with this?

I like the look of this cover. However, it is rated Teen in the United States. Despite the lack of a US cover, I would buy it again. This is a fantastic game.

Can the infamous PS3 games be played on the PS4?

No, it's not possible.

We haven't seen anything like it in the last 9 years
5/5

It is now 2018, nine years after the release of this game. In the sub-section Despite the super hero genre exploding in other media, the open world super hero game genre continues to reign supreme. There are perhaps a handful of better open world games (Witcher 3, Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption) and perhaps twice as many that are as good in the genre. In the past two years (2016-2017), there has been a significant increase in the number of people who Nothing has come close to it in 2018 so far. What went wrong with the video game industry?.

Don't be fooled by the rating; it's a good game for its era, and despite its flaws, inFamous is a fun game to play
3/5

I only gave it a 3/5 because I believe that since then, better games have been released. It is, however, deserving of a re-release as a product of its time. On the new consoles, it will be available. It's still a lot of fun to play this game. And the fact that I keep returning is a good indication that there is more to it. It's also a lot of fun to do.

It's fantastic! InFamous is an incredible game
5/5

Visuals are excellent. Action. Suspense. Scares. Twists. Everything you could want in a third-person action shooter is here. You won't be shooting guns, though; instead, you'll be shooting different types of electricity. br>br>After an explosion destroys three city islands, you (Cole) are given limited abilities. Complete Story Missions to gain more powers, and Side Missions to earn more points to upgrade your powers. The issue is this: Will you choose to be a hero or will you follow the path of evil and become famous? Right at the start of the game, you have a choice to make. br>br>You'll have to overcome obstacles, puzzles, and, most importantly, hordes and hordes of mutated enemies. Most enemies are fairly easy to 'zap' through, but others are extremely difficult. Especially during missions, when they collaborate to prevent you from completing the mission. You'll wonder if you're doing something wrong on some missions because you'll die so many times before you figure out a good strategy. br>br>Some areas require you to clear the enemies before proceeding, while others are best avoided by simply running for the exit. You are given a map that is extremely useful. In fact, there are two maps included: One is a head-up display, while the other is a map of all three islands. Even with maps, however, trial and error is sometimes the only way to determine which way is which. There are approximately 300 hidden 'blast shards' that you can collect to upgrade your Power Bar, and while the Shards are clearly marked on your HUD, they aren't all as simple to obtain as simply following the map to their location (much like the other collectible goodies known as Dead Drops). br>br>You do get some decent weapons to help you get through the levels. Your standard weapon is a lightning bolt (cool, right?). ) that you fire from the palm of your hand, and you'll need to engage in some hand-to-hand combat on occasion. combat with one's hands However, mastering the "big guns" you earn by completing Story Missions is the most enjoyable part of the game. You'll have to navigate some dangerous terrain and perform some death-defying balancing acts (though you won't be able to do so every time). To put it another way, let's say this: If you're afraid of heights, this game will terrify you like none other. br>br>Awesome scenery will surround you on your island explorations: sweeping cityscapes, stunning horizons, intricate architecture, and some truly bizarre structures and super-structures a framework This game never gets old to look at. Especially when you're using some of your newly acquired abilities to look at the scenery. For example, if you're flying or grinding on power lines. br>br>PlayStation 3 owners who skip inFamous may be missing out on one of the year's best and most enjoyable games. Now is the time to put it in your shopping cart.

A fantastic PS3 game in the style of a comic book
5/5

I'll admit that I'm impressed with how Sony made this game feel like you were playing a Marvel Comic Book where you had complete control over the main character's actions and ultimate decisions. Similar to Sony's Uncharted franchise, but instead of feeling like you're in a summer blockbuster, you're a comic book character attempting to resolve the moral dilemmas posed by your newly acquired "Super Powers. " br>br>Here's a quick rundown of the game's plot: You're a courier named Cole, and while delivering a mysterious package to an unknown address, it explodes, turning your city into a post-apocalyptic nightmare. Instead of being obliterated by the explosion, you manage to survive (after all, you were at ground zero) and are nursed back to health by your girlfriend Trish (who also happens to be an EMT) and best friend Zeke. To make matters even more complicated, the government has declared your city a Bio quarantine zone (meaning no one is allowed to enter or, more importantly, leave); the city is similar to New York's Manhattan Island. During your recuperation, you learn to master your new found abilities (Cole's powers are similar to Marvel's Electro mixed in with the strength and endurance of Captain America) and eventually set out to discover the truth behind the people who had Cole deactivated. br>br>Again, what I like best about this game is that it truly plays out like a Marvel Comic Book, which means that you are given a character who must either stick to his moral convictions or descend into a much darker path. With decisions you'll have to make throughout the game, you'll be able to freely choose between a "Good" path and a "Dark" path. While the story remains essentially the same regardless of which path you take, it does change how the game ends once you've completed it. So, at the end of the day, you'll either be known as a "Hero" or simply "InFamous. " br>br>Both my son and I have spent countless hours playing this game and are nowhere near finished; once we finish this one, I will most likely pick up the second game. This game is a must-have for anyone who enjoys comic books and wants to have a good time.
