Today I was able to pick up the new recon 200. My search for an adequate sound headset that is comfortable, suitable and equipped with a microphone has taken me through a ton of headphones over the past year or so. There are many levels to the impact of the recon 200. There is nothing like the always on bass boost - it's like no other sound experience I've ever heard. Of course, not everyone will like it. When it comes to sound, yes, the controller of the PS4 is plenty loud for these (most likely thanks to the amp built in). This is a GROUNDED headset that must be CHARGED, to me it It is not packaged with an adapter to use it on PC in addition to the mobile device. There are no descriptions for the product. (Description says it's compatible with Win10). I am disappointed in the sound quality and how short the mic is. My next move will be to find an alternative. Turtle Beach is my favorite, but they dropped the ball here.

My first ever set of Turtle Beaches came when Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) was released, and I had a cheap pair of SHADES at the time. You can't go wrong with the Recon 200s. When playing a video game and in a chat room, the sound is crystal clear. There is a sound of footsteps coming from across the street. Similarly, I play rocket league with Pandora in the background, and I can hear the game about 30% of the time and my music 70% of the time, and the music sounds fantastic. I have purchased this device and I would strongly advise you to not purchase it. It is not what I expected to find in a turtle beach, and it is definitely not what I expected. There are so many problems with this product, as well as a lot of hassles to deal with. I did not find this headset comfortable in any way. The padding is rock hard with minimal give and the sound is just constant white noise with a lot of You can get an $8 mic that comes in the PS4 box, and I would be happy with that. The mic is not worth the money. Besides $10, it is worth nothing more than that.
