SteelSeries Arctis 7 - Wireless Gaming Headset - DTS Headphone:X v2.0 Surround for PC and PlayStation 4 - White [2019 Edition]

I was still debating between the SteelSeries Arctis 7 and the Asus ROG Strix GL322 before choosing the latter. In terms of comfort and light weight, I can say it is fine, but I do wish it was bigger and heavier so that my entire ear would be covered. In terms of comfort, I believe the G935 is better, but while buying this one, what I was searching for was better surround sound, which it does deliver to some degree.

My head is not very big, but I believe having it a bit bigger will enable more sound to be covered and to have a better immersive surround sound experience. There is quite a distance between connected devices, much more than with - - - It is a con that this headset does not have the volume that the G935 does because it is not loud enough. I find it funny that this is listed by many as one of the top wireless headsets. It is okay in terms of mic quality, but if you looked up, you might need to tweak the level a bit since there is an amplification issue with your microphone at times. A list of the top wireless headsets with surround sound that is not impacted by cost is very hard to find

For the price, I say it is not the smartest choice. There is a price difference between this and the Logitech Wireless - - - My dream is to see Bose create a gaming headset one day.

After a few months, the computer began acting up after being purchased for my son in April. With the reset option I was able to fix the problem and carry on with the rest of my life. My microphone stopped working a month later, so I submitted a ticket for support. Honestly, I have no confidence SteelSeries will actually replace the defective product.

I hope my son gets the defective device replaced, and unfortunately, that will be the last time we buy SteelSeries products.

Having owned a series of this headset for two years now, this is my second. Although I've tried Turtle Beach, Razer, and Hyper X headsets in the past, I seem to keep returning to the Hyper X headsets. Comfortable, good sound quality, and a sleek design make them ideal for any exercise routine. I upgraded to the series 6 because I wanted wireless headphones. The quality on the series 5 is still excellent, but I only upgraded because I wanted wireless headphones. A steel series is a good choice.

This is a good headset for my PS4 but the mic is so low my friends cannot hear me that is one of the reasons I bought it. This is a bit disappointing because that is one of the main things I bought the headset for so now I have to return it.
