Questions & Answers

The third one stands out for its simplicity. Do you have a 5 mm adapter with this?

The third one is true. In my case, I had a 5 mm adapter.

The headset is supposed to be here in three months, but I have not been able to get in touch with anyone about it, and I would like suggestions on how to proceed?

I am wondering if you received this product? What was the delivery time frame? My order has not been updated since I placed it.

Selected User Reviews For SteelSeries Arctis 5 - Gaming Headset - RGB Illumination - DTS Headphone:X v2.0 Surround for PC and PlayStation 4 - Black [2019 Edition]

It was my first SteelSeries product, and it impressed me so much that I immediately wrote a review
5/5

I don't write reviews often, but this pair of cans blew me away right from day It has been a long time since I've played video games, and after many headsets I have made the switch from one to another. There have been many adequate programs, some good programs, and very few terrific programs. There's no denying that SteelSeries Arctis 5's (and I'm sure that the other model Arctis') are superior to anything else available today. They are extremely comfortable, so that was the first thing I noticed. The shoes have been on my feet for several hours while I wrote this review, and I've experienced no irritation or pressure points. I believe the atypical and simple suspension system is the greatest invention of all time, and I cannot believe more companies haven't been able to make use of it yet. Lastly, the size of the headset is another consideration. In many gaming headsets, a great deal of bulk is added just to stand out or make them However, SteelSeries chose a more smooth, minimalist design vibe and did a great job executing it. As of yet, I cannot comment on the durability of the materials, but I feel they are The price of the headset will determine how long it lasts, but even the cheapest headset will hold up if you take care of it. I have to mention the sound, and WOW! What a great sound! Instead of plugging these into a USB port, I have them connected to an internal sound card (making mediocre headsets sound much better than they would otherwise). Despite the fact that the output levels are clear and crisp, I am surprised by how much bass comes out of these. I am not able to play with the nifty lights on the sides of the soundcard since they are connected directly to the soundcard rather than through a USB port. As for those who do not own similar sound cards, I am not sure how these will sound, but I plan on testing the difference to compare the two. Additionally, I don't have the chat mix dial connected since I do not use the USB connection, so I have no comment regarding that. Later tests will include that as well and I'll provide additional feedback then.

I'd say these are the best bang for your buck at this point. These headsets are more comfortable than headsets from other companies, and the sound quality is as good as their more expensive counterparts.

As a replacement for the Arctis 3, the Arctis 5 is stylish and very comfortable
4/5

This review is being written in quarantine as I sit here bored **I ordered the Arctis 3 a few weeks ago after doing a lot of research Almost every day, I play PC Games for an average of 2 hours, maybe less. I wanted a comfortable pair of headphones that made my voice sound okay when I talk to my friends through the game or Discord. As a successor to the Arctis 5, I ordered the Arctis 3 since it appeared it offered a very similar sound quality, without the RGB on the sides. A little more than one hour after getting them, I was unable to use my Arctis 3 microphone, so I had to send them back. As a result of spending hours researching, I was very upset by the fact that I had to return them. They were very comfortable, so their return upset me greatly. A Logitech mouse was ordered by me I bought a brand of headphones and did not like them from the start- However, I worried that the sound quality would be far better than the comfort (my #1 desire). It was merely a matter of not being able to find a headphone with the material Arctis' offers on the ears that led me to decide on an Arctis 5. Although I was upset by SteelSeries' initially faulty product, my overall impression of the Arctis 5 is good. It's pleasant in terms of comfort, the RGB effect seems neat, and the sound and microphone seem to be good. My ears don't seem to bother at all after wearing these bad boys for hours on end. I'm not a headphone connoisseur by any means, but these bad boys do the trick nicely. Due to the problem I had with Arctis 3, I received 4/5.

It is great, but there is still room for improvement
4/5

The headset is nicely constructed, and for half the price I would buy it again. (I wear a 71/4 size hat however, so the pads come with the headset are comfortable, but small for my head. ) As long as you count having a very limited area for the hook and loop to actually attach to with even more limited grip as "adjustable," the headband is "adjustable". I have found the mic to be fine, but not near as sensitive as some others out there. For the mic to pick up your voice, you have to be standing near your mouth level for your voice to come through clearly. Overall, this is a very comfortable headset that can be worn for hours at a time (even more so with the new pads), and it sounds pretty good and is very.

I've got a joke for you
3/5

A consistent error has been noticed in these headphones since I received them three days ago There has been a history of the headset not working randomly. Then that's all I have to say. I have to unplug and replug the USB to get the lights to stay on and the audio and microphone to work. Not to mention the RGB colors don't work for me at all with SteelSeries GG Program, with which it's almost as if they don't exist. Some people suggest that my use of a VPN might be the cause of this What does it matter if I use a VPN or not when using SteelSeries's RGB? The programs seem to be trying to access my privacy through this. Instead of reading reviews, take a look at the SteelSeries SubReddit to see how many problems customers of this brand are facing. Returning these is on my to-do list.

Gamers should choose this headset if they want to enjoy their FPS game
5/5

Comparing this one to the one with 15k reviews I am not able to find any difference. The two are the same, according to me. The price of this headset was incredibly low, so I jumped at the chance to order. I enjoy playing Valorant and the headset makes it easier for me to hear footsteps and other sound effects clearly. In addition to improving my gaming experience, this headset provides excellent audio quality. This RGB background is pretty cool, but I am a little disappointed that I am unable to see it while using the headphones. I recommend it to every gamer!.

I really like the sound of the mic and the headset
4/5

This headset has become a favorite of mine. The only issue I have is that the mic is almost always too close or too far away from your mouth when you use it. There was a pop filter on my old headphones mic I used that on this one I think it has fixed the problem in some way. In addition to that, sounds are excellent, and the mic is solid. Although the cord often gets in the way and seems to twist more easily than usual, it does get in the way of watching.
