Despite how sturdy it may appear, I would not recommend this headset for travel because it requires the use of a dongle. If you're going to transport it a long distance and won't be using it for a while, I'd keep it safely stored.
You can try using a Bluetooth universal adaptor if you have one.br>It's best to look for a spare or as-is headset with a USB port that can be used.

You must plug in the black USB cable that comes with it and hold the button on the headphone, which is also orange, until the light turns orange.
Selected User Reviews For PDP Gaming LVL50 Wireless Stereo Headset With Noise Cancelling Microphone: Black - PS5/PS4
br>br>Because of the mixed reviews, I was very skeptical. This headset for the PlayStation 4 is fantastic! The earpiece is extremely comfortable, and I sleep with it on for about 5 hours each night. Both the music in the game and the conversations with other players have excellent sound quality. When I'm done playing, I plug the headset in every night, and it's never died on me. If you're looking for a wireless headset with a mic that won't break the bank, this is a great option! If you own a PS4, don't wait.
The product is defective right out of the box. There was no sound because the device wouldn't pair. I'm not sure if they charge (I'm assuming they don't). The usual 50% hit rate on Amazon now seems to be the usual 50% hit rate now seems to be the usual 50% hit Returning because I'm not willing to fight technology when there are other options available. These are something I would stay away from.
I had a Turtle Beach Stealth 520 and a Turtle Beach PC (wired) headset. Until my PS4s broke, I thought they were fantastic. This product is built to last, has excellent sound, is breathable, is easy to use, and has the best ear pads I've ever used. This product keeps your ears dry and cool, and it's a must-have if you want serious quality.
They are extremely comfortable, and the microphone is of the highest quality. There is, however, no way to change the chatback volume or mic mix level, as others have pointed out. Also- The biggest flaw is that if you take the headset off to watch a movie or something, the audio does not return to default, which means you have to unplug the dongle every time you don't want to use it. br>br>*update: br>br> You can choose to send all or just the chat audio to the cans by changing the audio settings on the PS4. When switching from headset to default listening, there is still an inconvenient extra step.
I like the headsets and use them five times a week, but they've started randomly losing their connection to the console, dropping out three or four times and simply beeping in your ear while you try to play. I contacted the PDP service to see if there was anything we could do to reset them or if they were covered by warranty. It's difficult to play the PS4 in the middle of a game while hearing garble and beeping. br>br>Update: 5 months later, the manufacturer sent me a replacement unit with no questions asked and it arrived in 2 days! Once again, we have excellent reception.
The microphone has a good range of functionality. I particularly enjoy being able to move it up and down when I'm not using it. The mic's versatility is also a plus. My only issue with this product is the battery; it has only died on me once, but after charging (which seems to go on forever), it will randomly beep as if it is about to die, but I continue to use it and it never shuts off. I usually charge after each use just to keep my sanity, but I've left it to charge for nearly two days and the charging light has remained orange and on. I'm not sure if it's a flaw, but it does the job when I need it to.
So far better than the lvl 40, connected from usb plug in, great for computers, and PS4, audio is stunning, sturdy and comfortable, it is a little stuffy but fits%.
They were purchased for the Playstation, but he also uses them on his computer. He's known for being rough with electronics, but he's had a lot of luck with these. The only thing I'd make sure you know about these before you buy them is that they come with a USB dongle. They aren't Bluetooth (so you won't be able to connect them to phones or other devices). br>I would buy it again and would recommend it to others.
