Up until Windows 10 arrived, there wasn't any issue with that. The G27 is sometimes recognized as a "Logitech Driving Force GT" wheel by Windows 10. That wheel is even older than the one above and has much fewer In games, this can mess up your wheel rotations and force feedback, resulting in the G27 looking like an inferior product. However, this problem can be avoided by taking the time to go through the proper steps when installing it is still so messed up that I don't recommend it as often as I used to. Many problems can still be permanently repaired even if they void the warranty and cost This unit includes a cog with holes inside that gets detected by infrared or some type of light, helping your gaming device determine how much rotation the wheel makes. It can get a hairline crack, as mine did, which needs to be fixed with a brass encoder. Originally, the encoder was plastic and lasted for a few months, but the brass version has lasted for a decent amount of time. This issue has been overlooked by Logitech due to years and years of existence of their own feedback thread, so be aware when you purchase a new model that this may be an ongoing issue. It is still a great product and I recommend using a velcro mod on the shifter so that it does not feel or sound like plastic when you hit the gear stick. I highly recommend taking a look at the new YouTube improvements. Also, replacing the springs on the pedals with springs from the Nexim pedal mod, for just 60 USD is an impressive value. The next one up is basically $500, so there is a big price gap where no wheel can compete with it. There is only one thing I don't like about the hardware it's cumbersome and difficult to use You can call the clamping system in a vice what you like, it's whatever you want. As if it is made to make it difficult to grip so you won't be able to bend it so hard that you break the plastic. There is however a small possibility of making it tight enough to stay in position, but it is possible so it is not a major concern. Though it is cumbersome to set up and take down, at least I would like it to function quickly.

like it a lot! There is nothing to complain about! This is a whole new experience for me. Gran Turismo's closed course circuits seem similar to the closed track circuits I have raced on in real life. The only place Logitech can improve on realism is the gear shifter pad. It feels very plastic-like. It would be much more realistic to have the metal against the metal in the shifter. If there were also an option to provide feedback to the player through the clutch, brake and gas petals, it would make shifting feel course, you would be lazy if you used the paddles Does well on the PS3 and the computer, but I have not tried the game on many of them yet. The torque on the highest setting has kept me awake night after night. Not a hint of fade or excessive heat has been felt. I like it very much! Be aware, however, that the pedals may not lock firmly in place until you mount it to something securely, as they will move around if you do not mount it correctly. To fix the pedals, I screwed them into the hard plastic floor mat that covers the carpet in my office. This solution worked well.
