You can use it on Windows 7, 8, 10, 32 bit and 64 bit versions, and on Playstation 3. Since I don't own a PS4, I am not sure if it will work.
It is realistic to use the gas pedal. This device I use mainly for racing, but I can race around a track at 2 miles per hour or 102 miles per hour. Anybody interested in a good wheel setup can get one at a reasonable price from this manufacturer. Although the more expensive wheels might have a better feature or two, those differences may not be that significant. My recommendation is to play iracing or assetto corsa if you like racing games, because they are the most realistic games available.
I received the same reply to my question, and I'm confident that G27 will not work in the PS4 for the time being because Sony does not provide a PS4 security chip. This chip prevents the G27 from shutting down after 8 minutes without this chip. PS4 licenses are protected in this way by Sony. Sony and Logitech may be able to do a deal in the future to make this work. A 8-point scale A firmware upgrade may be able to circumvent the minute shutdown restriction. The G27 community has actually started a petition to have that

The wheel comes with everything you need to fit a wide variety of sims and vehicles. At the time, it was a fantastic entry-level wheel. A clutch is attached to the pedals. Do not forget to check. Set the wheel rotation to 900 degrees and force feedback. Do not forget to check. You can shift using a paddle shifter. Do not forget to check. to the Do not forget to check. I liked that there were plenty of buttons, plug and play at the time, etc etc etc. Check, check, I enjoyed it a lot. In five years, it continues to work as well as it did on day one. After many virtual roads, it's still working great! As my system continues to hold up, I have never felt the need to upgrade. Apparently, the software side of things got left behind when the world switched to Windows 10 in the first place. There was new software released by Logitech for their peripherals since It means that the "Logitech Profiler" software they use no longer gets patches or updates. Up until Windows 10 arrived, there wasn't any issue with that. The G27 is sometimes recognized as a "Logitech Driving Force GT" wheel by Windows 10. That wheel is even older than the one above and has much fewer In games, this can mess up your wheel rotations and force feedback, resulting in the G27 looking like an inferior product. However, this problem can be avoided by taking the time to go through the proper steps when installing it is still so messed up that I don't recommend it as often as I used to. As an added bonus, I bought my pair new for $200 USD in 2015, and now they are going for that amount or more In other words, these are products that have been used. The wild times are here. Unless you live in the jungle, these are fabulous wheels that require a little extra effort to get working, but if you can, you'll love them.
Many problems can still be permanently repaired even if they void the warranty and cost This unit includes a cog with holes inside that gets detected by infrared or some type of light, helping your gaming device determine how much rotation the wheel makes. It can get a hairline crack, as mine did, which needs to be fixed with a brass encoder. Originally, the encoder was plastic and lasted for a few months, but the brass version has lasted for a decent amount of time. This issue has been overlooked by Logitech due to years and years of existence of their own feedback thread, so be aware when you purchase a new model that this may be an ongoing issue. It is still a great product and I recommend using a velcro mod on the shifter so that it does not feel or sound like plastic when you hit the gear stick. I highly recommend taking a look at the new YouTube improvements. Also, replacing the springs on the pedals with springs from the Nexim pedal mod, for just 60 USD is an impressive value. Definitely have to do the.
The next one up is basically $500, so there is a big price gap where no wheel can compete with it. There is only one thing I don't like about the hardware it's cumbersome and difficult to use You can call the clamping system in a vice what you like, it's whatever you want. As if it is made to make it difficult to grip so you won't be able to bend it so hard that you break the plastic. There is however a small possibility of making it tight enough to stay in position, but it is possible so it is not a major concern. Though it is cumbersome to set up and take down, at least I would like it to function quickly.
I take away 1 star for the Please note the following 2) Logitech Gaming Software has stopped supporting the G27 since In version 8, it's got a bunch of features. The time has come to xx. There is a possibility of running two versions of LGS side-by-side if you are using other Logitech equipment, like a gaming mouse, which 90% of G27 owners probably own. 2) Download for the old version 5. 2 for G27 owners. There is a problem with LGS 10 for 64-bit systems Users of the bit version. You can download the 64-bit version by clicking the link below A 32-bit version comes with a 64-bit version There is a 32-bit version, but it cannot be installed on a 64-bit system Windows 32 bit. The install functions just like it should and says it was successful, but if you watch closely, you will notice that it takes zero seconds to copy files during the installation in contrast to a likely 5-second delay. There's nothing there when you look at the Start Menu after it's been installed. I find it confusing. Despite the fact that the web page is not mentioning this problem, this issue still exists. Your chances of finding the correct number are good if you find There was no need to search too much for the Logitech forums to find the latest bit download. I'm sure someone will have a link to the download in the Amazon comments. Logitech is typically Logitech in terms of its products A great piece of hardware, a terrible piece of This is similar to the Harmony remote control and the mouse software that they used A couple of other As the wheel turns- Weight is heavy (how difficult it is to turn the wheel a car when you are driving). As far as force is concerned, I am unfamiliar I'm not used to feedback wheels except for an old Logitech Momo wheel, so maybe it's just a matter of getting In my experience, I have driven several cars and trucks, and each is fairly easy to maneuver with one hand. However, when using a Momo or G27, it feels more like steering a big vehicle. I have no power in my rig- This is the steering wheel. As far as I'm aware, the STi I'm driving has these features While the game has power steering, my computer asks me to plug in a USB dongle As I turned the wheel with both arms, I reached out for it. Yeah, I see how it makes sense, I'm racing in the game, so it should be difficult, but it doesn't seem right At 50mph, you should be able to make small, subtle turns with just one finger in a car with power steering. When there is a wheel in a game - What is the recommended weight setting (Assetto Corsa? My memory is hazy because I have been playing driving games a lot), but I could not discern any difference between 0%, 10%, 90%, or In the games I'm playing now (Assetto Corsa, GRID, GRID2, DiRT2, Euro Truck Sim 2, F1 2012, etc. ) I'll research this a bit to see if I can make it more realistic. Assetto Corsa is a game that I enjoy. There's a feel in this game that every car's tires have butter all over them. While I'm turning the wheel a little bit at 35mph, the tires are squealing off the ground and I'm Though supposedly accurate, none of this is clear. A lot of Codemaster games have gotten me used to codemaster game experience. Now it's time to experience the true sims.
like it a lot! There is nothing to complain about! This is a whole new experience for me. Gran Turismo's closed course circuits seem similar to the closed track circuits I have raced on in real life. The only place Logitech can improve on realism is the gear shifter pad. It feels very plastic-like. It would be much more realistic to have the metal against the metal in the shifter. If there were also an option to provide feedback to the player through the clutch, brake and gas petals, it would make shifting feel course, you would be lazy if you used the paddles Does well on the PS3 and the computer, but I have not tried the game on many of them yet. The torque on the highest setting has kept me awake night after night. Not a hint of fade or excessive heat has been felt. I like it very much! Be aware, however, that the pedals may not lock firmly in place until you mount it to something securely, as they will move around if you do not mount it correctly. To fix the pedals, I screwed them into the hard plastic floor mat that covers the carpet in my office. This solution worked well. On the desk on which I mount the steering wheel, I also have a flat overhang. When I upgrade to an actual racing seat setup, I'm going to be in heaven D.
