Due to poor sales management, I took away a star. Although I would keep it at 4 stars, I still give it a 4. Although they still have issues with it, they are working on them. Having sent in three since it first came out to be replaced for the same reason as my review, I sent in three since it first came out. Although I am writing six months after using this controller, I want to stress that it is well worth the buy. However, six months after my purchase, I began experiencing problems. From the start, it seemed like the left bumper was going to be stiff. However, it worked, and as a customer who does not know a great deal about controllers, I assumed that this was how it was supposed to act. There is a chance that it can make or break the game and if something isn't working right, it can result in death or a complete wipe of the game. Will I have to buy another one if forced to? Some have told me there was a one-year warranty, but all I found on their site was a 90-day limited warranty. If I have the funds for someone on disability - and with limited funds, 50 dollars isn't much - I might, but it will all depend on my finances. If I were to recommend this to others, I would definitely do so. To avoid this problem, my best advice to others would be to contact support right away if you feel that something is amiss with your controller. A few weeks ago, my son dropped my replacement, and now it has the same problem as before with the left bumper not working anymore and rattling. In light of the fact that this was my child's fault, and not the fault of the controller itself, I will not be sending the replacement in. In the meantime, I am buying a new one, and I will attempt to take the current one apart and repair it when I have time. As for me, I am going to buy the new one because generally speaking, I think it is a good investment and because I can program it in such a way that I find this to be useful in the games that I use it for. This is why I gave it only four stars and not five, because I doubt it would last as long as it does now. When you drop a drop of water, it makes a rattle-like noise. When I dropped cell phones on hard surfaces, they were in an excellent condition when I picked them up. The following update is for July 1st, I have now had 4 steam controllers since it rolled out, and at 117 dollars I am no longer able to justify the price for this product. In any case, i won't be purchasing this controller from Amazon anymore because they have continued to increase the price. If you want to purchase it through Steam, that's just as easy to do. I just bought yet another steam controller in case you were wondering why. In order to clarify, i have two reasons for choosing it. First of all, I am used to it and no other controller feels right when I hold it. Secondly, it gives me the opportunity to customize and play different games on it. I am most likely to switch controllers if another controller ever comes along that compares in both of those ways.

Using the steam controller has been both a joy and a pain for me after using it for 3 years as my only controller. I will start with the pros and go from there. The pros are ** - You can customize your website to any extent - I find it to work exceptionally well with my current games
- With the Steam Link, you will have an awesome pairing - A fantastic battery life - A good haptic feedback experience. The touchpad feels amazing when I move my finger across it. ** - I love the startup tune and I think it is very charming*- This is an incredibly durable product. The only thing this controller has been damaged by is a scratch after I threw it in rage (only once)- I am very satisfied with how the buttons feel and travel - It is a good idea to include a touchpad on a device like this

While this is certainly a good device, there are some major *** * * This is an exclusive edition for PC gamers. This thing just won't work on my android phone so that I can play something like Minecraft PE - A dongle has been lost. The device allows you to pair with dongles (which are fortunately compatible with the device), but I lost two. There seems to be no way to connect the dongle with the controller somehow. I guess it kind of floats around if you don't have anything connected to it*- This thing feels cheap and doesn't feel at all like the premium feel and weight of an Xbox controller, despite its durability. If you could make a premium version of this, it would be amazing!!! Controlling the touch pad has a high degree of granularity. However, it feels cheap and feels like the old way to play games.
