It appears to be an exact replica of the standard N64 controller. When I was a teenager, I held those in my hands for a long time and knew what they were supposed to feel like. I wish they were lighter. Weight is a bit heavier than the original controllers, but that's fine. As far as I can tell I've managed to map all the keys into an N64 emulator with no trouble. It wasn't necessary to have two, but it's nice to have them. I am really happy with my We would have more roms if Nintendo hadn't made it so hard to find them.

So far, I have been using these with my Raspberry Pi 4 B and Lakka to play N64 games with my kids, and I am very pleased. The buttons and analog stick all work properly, and they feel pretty close to what the real thing feels like. They might feel cheap at first, but that's to be expected for the price. And the analog stick on our blue one feels as if it's caught on the inside in many positions, but otherwise performs perfectly well. This controller has been nothing short of amazing so far. The button mapping in Lakka (RetroArch) was a bit tricky, and it took me several hours of tinkering to get it right, but that's not the fault of the controller. The hope is that they will.

There's nothing to complain about regarding quality. Generally, the controllers are great and work well on a device, but one of the two controllers I received has a small dead zone on the joystick, which makes the controller difficult Both controllers have been tested and are working flawlessly.

N64 controllers on USB are always a source of skepticism for me. In contrast to other joysticks that are "too" tight or do not all respond quickly, this one feels great and has an excellent response time (super smash bros approved response time). The buttons also have a good pop to them. Even though it is lightweight, it does not feel flimsy or cheap. One of the only differences I noticed was that it was smaller than a N64 In about an hour of Smash Bros gameplay, I can say that the controller works very well, and the price was great (purchased the 2 piece combo pack) I definitely plan on purchasing my other 2 controllers from this same online store.

That being said, it's been a while since I've had an authentic N64 controller, but these sure are nice! For the last 7 years I've been using an older n64 USB controller, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. After switching to these controllers it's like night and day. A/B/Z/C joystick is smooth, but firm and responsive, the Dpad is smooth to use, and the LO/RP trigger buttons feel great, I knew I wasn't going to get rumble pack support going into this purchase, but I still bought it anyway. These have been a great experience for me thus.

This controller has proved to be very durable up until this point. The only suggestion I have is that the joystick is slightly looser than what I'd like but it is still stiffer than what I had on my decades-old gaming systems I don't really have a lot to complain about, considering I still have the original N64 controller.
