Questions & Answers

Are the colors available in the rainbow picture above, or can they only be chosen from the rainbow picture?

It is not possible to change the colors of the prime stock, my friends. It's up to you to decide what color to use. Thank you! Please send us a message if you need a specific color when you purchase items from China

Are you sure this will work with ?

As far as I know they will work, although you will have to dremel the joystick to make it These are not plug and play, so if you want that, look elsewhere.

it work on a Mac with an Intel processor older than 11 years old?

You can almost certainly count on it. In their encoders, USB 2.0 is used as a standard.

The fix for the connector removal is described below
4/5

We gave this hotel a 4-star rating because it is both affordable Here are some of the good things It is a good price for the quality. I am using the encoder on a Raspberry Pi 4 running There are several buttons that are retro in style from the 1980s. It's worth purchasing again just to get the encoder boards and to have enough stuff for me to test out my concept before buying and building with more expensive components. A few things that are bad It is a bit noisy with the switches. I have found the joystick in my case to be too large and springy for defender circa 1981 (it works, but if you were looking for a replacement, then you cannot quite get the same result). Removing connectors should be as simple as possible I noticed on the connectors I received (the tabs on the button side of the cable, not the connector on the controller board), that the retainer dimple on the middle portion of the lug pointed in toward the hole on each The wires in this end up in the hole on the switch in order to prevent the switch from falling off. However, it makes it incredibly difficult to remove, so much so that it is impossible to uninstall. As I positioned a small nail on the dimple of the lug's center, I gave it a short whack with enough force to deflect the nail, but not enough to damage it, enough to deflect it. I'm happy with how it turned out. Instead of friction, now the connectors are simply held into place by friction. Feel free to tighten the crimp if necessary. Make sure the connectors won't get stuck in the cabinet otherwise, you'll need to replace them. It is obvious from the second picture that the white wire has not been modified, and the dimple on the switch tab faces inward when viewed carefully. The blue wire now faces outward so it can't catch the hole in the switch because it is now facing outward. Using a 2 x 4 as a base, I hammered it down. should be done with a light touch, and you should feel the point of the nail touch.

I love the vintage feel! It was perfect, the buttons had that old-fashioned feel to them! I'd thoroughly recommend this company for your buying needs! They provided additional cable and switches, which was also very nice

This product does not work as advertised and the customer service is poor
3/5

I bought this to make an arcade for my son's birthday but it will not work with raspberry pi. This system will not work with the raspberry pi, but the buttons are well made. In as soon as you program the second controller, the first controller stops functioning Once you re-program the first one, the second one will no longer function. It was terrible to deal with the customer service. The only thing they do is send you qr code hyperlinks to forums that have nothing to do with their product or how to configure the second controller. There are three links to the web We no longer have access to these files because they are about 4 years old.

It has that old school feel to it
4/5

The Arcade 1up SF2 cabinet I brought these to has these installed. In terms of the buttons, they are fine. The joysticks will fit but without drilling them or using a dremel. Since I have never used a dremel before, hoping I can get it to work. This is probably something you can do as well. Over the course of 4 or 5 days, I worked on this. Make sure you have the information you need before you begin the process, and only proceed when you're Don't be afraid to take a risk. The key to success is patience. A set of screws that comes with the joysticks to mount them. I was able to install it on the Arcade1up deck without any issues. There is nothing better than the feeling of these joysticks and buttons. This is a very solid and heavy item. You'll be satisfied with this if you prefer the old-school vibe. You will be fine with these. I wish you the best of.

It is extremely difficult to follow joystick directions
4/5

After following instruction and trying to figure out why I couldn't use the joystick, I became extremely depressed. The last piece on the instructions is actually supposed to be attached to the bottom of the joystick, where the sensors are. My friend realized this after he read the instructions. As seen in the instructions, there are 3 plastic pieces on the rod that appear to go on before inserting, and it will look like it will Nevertheless, if the clip is touching the metal for the buttons sensors, it has not been assembled correctly. You'll need to place the bottom piece from the instructions on the rod from the bottom before putting the metal clip on. This may help, as I was at a loss for words.

The quality is excellent
4/5

I was impressed by the speed of shipping and the good quality of the product. There was one problem for me, as the control board is not set up for keyboard input, so I had to go into Mame and set up the joystick by hand. The more difficult it is to get Daphne working on the side you like, the more frustrating it is. It's taking me a while to figure it Rather than spend twenty grand on another controller board, I'd just order an Ultimarc instead, which would save me a lot of time and In my opinion, this is a good setup if you don't mind having to set up everything yourself. It is just different than what I am used to.

This is a pretty good draft, but it needs some finishing work
4/5

My Arcade1Up cabinet is being modified with these. There was only one issue I had, and that was that the joysticks had a little bit of flash on the side. A member of my family scratched their hands on the thing. So I sanded it off. While I do not know why Suction Power is included in the review criteria, I do appreciate the effort. Other than that, the only change I would make is to include lighter switches in the kit, but that would add to the cost and make the kit more expensive. As far as switches, I will just order lighters later this summer and I would also have enjoyed if they were all red white and blue like the original street fighter buttons,.

A lot of great components, preprogrammed breadboards, and a great price
5/5

My DIY arcade project used this kit. It included two preprogrammed breadboards, two control sticks, a nice variety of colorful buttons, as well as the wires needed to make them work. The buttons and stick are shaped like those in sumo wrestling. extremely pleased with the quality of the components and would definitely buy this set again in the future. As far as the instructions are concerned, they are limited to two diagrams which are used to show assembly however, the equipment itself (particularly the breadboards) is very well labeled, so it doesn't take too long to figure out how to use it. Having all of these pieces will look great in my cabinet and will be a great addition to my Raspberry Pi setup.
